>"She lost an arm?" asks Eirin. "How unexpected. I trust she is well? And we have someone else picking up Tewi's bad habits? Well, I suppose we should nip this in the bud. I expect they would deny it if you just asked, they have no reason to let be known that they broke the rules; especially given that you're connected to me." She smiles. "I appreciate that you are looking into this for me, thank you. But, what makes you think there may be an imposter?"

>"That doesn't seem very notable," says Eirin. "There's quite a few rabbits here, and it is a bit much to expect everyone to know them all. I tend to have a few problems remembering every face and name, myself."

>"Also, Mokou says the rabbit did not seem to know how to get back to Eientei. I was thinking... perhaps a lunar rabbit has come here for some reason."

>"That is interesting," says Eirin. "It does suggest she is unfamiliar with the forest, or that she was impaired enough to forget the way. I imagine she would have quite the hangover in the latter case, unless she was wise enough to take some preventative measures beforehand."

> "I also have a dark horse theory, related to the big issue of the day. >Eirin nods. "That is also possible. But why would she want to involve us? If she were just in disguise to look around, it seems a bit much that she'd also come here. So it would suggest she has a reason to involve us, or at least has a reason to be here."

>Eirin nods, and hands you a small bottle. "This should deal ease away those bruises before they get nasty. Drink it in one gulp.
>You obtain: Healtm Potion.
>"Also," she says as she returns to her desk, "Let me give you this as a thank you for little present," She produces a small bag and tosses it to you. You catch it and note the telltale metallic clink of coins. "There should be about 700☼ in there," she says. "It may not get you very far with Rinnosuke, but you might find other uses for it. It is not much, given the nature of that specimen, but I am afraid it is all I have on hand at the moment."

> Exit Eientei and head for the Moriya Shrine.

>You thank Eirin and smile. She returns the latter gesture.
>You depart Eientei, and take a much more relaxed trip than the previous one. Along the way, you note Merlin emerging from Kourindou. She doesn't seem to pay you much mind.
>Ascending up to the mountain, you see Momiji is now standing guard outside of one of the buildings in tengu town.
>You enter the grounds of the Moriya Shrine. It is a rather impressive-looking wooden building; clearly a lot of love have gone into constructing it. A path to the north leads around the shrine to a pond with several Onbashira arranged in it. A paved walkway leads to the shrine itself. Obvious exits are east, west, and north.

>You enter the Shrine, and find Sanae just inside, messing with some kind of toy in the front hall.
>You say that you wish to see Kanako. "She told me to expect you back sometime today. Please go inside."
>You enter Kanako's chamber, and find that she hasn't moved at all. "The wind flows clearly again," she says as you enter. "You did well."
>You quickly explain what you found and that you cleared out the web. She nods "I appreciate your services, particularly in making certain it would not happen anew. That is beyond what I had expected of you. For that, accept a small gift." She makes sweep gesture in your direction.
>"I have filled that empty bottle with a gale. Uncork it, and it shall stream with a strong, concentrated gust for a few minutes before it is depleted. Smash it and you will create a short lived windstorm. It is yours to do with as you please."
>You obtain: Bottle of Wind
>She makes another gesture, and a slight breeze fills the chamber. It carries a vibrant leaf, rather like the one in Kanako's hair across the room, until it lands at your feet. "This is my blessing, please deliver it to Patchouli with my gratitude to you both."

>You thank Kanako and take your leave. "May your day be bright," she says.
>There is a donation box out front. You leave 100☼, which is considered a pretty generous donation. You expect it would probably get the likes of Reimu or Byakuren to invite you to dinner.
>You examine the thing Sanae is playing with. It seems to be a plastic doll of an fully armored person. "Oh, this is a 1/60 scale VF-1A Valkyrie I found at Kourindou a month ago," she says. "Isn't it cool? It even transforms accurately!"

Reimu'd probably be peeved if we forced her to owe a favor to Rinnosuke, too. I'm not so sure about trading it.

Voices: She gave it to us pretty much to trade. We should at least get a good value out of it. And further there is the fact that getting the wakazashi would get us in really good with Youmu, which would solve another (minor) incident.

True. It would be pretty neat to go around as a swordbunny, too.

If we do give it up for the sword, I propose returning to Patchy to give her those blessings and then setting off to hunt for Nue. We've put Reimu's issues off long enough and she's given us the most valuable item in the story so far if Rinnosuke is any indication, the least we can do is actually work for her.
