Suddenly Gappy is a shrine goddess? XD
I wasn't very sure about the living in the futon cupboard idea. My original idea was to have Gappy live in a home of her own somewhere nobody knows ^^
Also, Gappy, despite her extremely long life, as well as being quite bright in her own right, is simply densely ignorant of 'such things' and is quite innocent and naive. Probably because 'hope' is very much a childish thing and, being its embodiment, she can't help but be childish herself XD
Also, yes, Gappy is (one of many) the guardian of the border between the real and the unreal, so yes, she can manipulates dreams and is also capable of making them come true. However, she is mainly the patron guardian of hope, perseverance and fortune, so she only makes wishes come true to those brave enough to hope and dream and work hard for it.
