Beat Gengetu for the second time ever....and in the same way as before.
3 deaths to Mugetu, then I got a life on every pattern which somehow pulled me through.

The MarisaxYukari dialogue isn't that interesting, though... too bad.
My first try got me to the unfair crisscross laser spam. Also: that spirally bullet card is brilliant.

You should see Yuyuko and Letty. The former's new portrait fits her so accurately.

Anyway, tried to 1cc PoDD Hard. Went great, got to Yumemi with 2 lives (lost one on Chiyuri). Hadn't reached the second Extend because the battles have been going almost extremely easily, even my win against Chiyuri. I guess this is why I should keep playing as Yumemi instead of Reimu  :V

Anyway, lost to Yumemi several times. I continued, and on the first life of the continue, I had a perfect Yumemi battle. No bombs. No hits. I only even used a boss summon once, the rest came from scoring. I lived through HER boss summon without getting hit a few times, and those attacks are complete luckgarbage for me. I mean, I know her lv2 and 3 are just streaming, but the boss is full-screen clusterfuck.

But why can't I even come close to beating her WITHOUT a continue? D:

Wow, it's been a while since I've done something that I can be happy for when there's still a death in the replay.

MoF Perfect Aya Battle.  First time playing it with an actual perfectionist intent in a long, long time (it's been a while since I've played this solely in practice, and whenever I get here in a 1cc, the entire stage becomes a bomb-fest fail spiral and I don't get any real practice at it).  And I actually felt like the Peerless capture wasn't just a random lucky capture, and that I was actually (gasp) reading it.

If I can just learn how to read Momizi...

Those fast rings of bullets were absolutely nothing to me after LLS timeout phases.

Figured out you can survive the green blob spam at the end of the stage with max power ReimuC.

Screw no deaths. A perfect run won't be long now, I feel it in my water.

The stage portion is actually really simple, I just perfected it a minute ago. The only beef I have with it is the green blob spam and maybe the sideways enemies near the end of the stage.
Am I weird for liking the stage?  :V
Also something funny I found out. On EES second phase, if you are fast enough, you can plant the ring of mines on one of the walls and you can dodge the bullets without the mines obscuring them. \o/

Okay thanks I will work on it, I still don't get Mugetsu Blue/Yellow attack (Getting walled by yellow most of the time) but the stage part is more clear with your "replay".
Also pacifist is terrible (some part in the stage are AGAGAHAGHAGHAGHA)

I know the stage is simple outside of the green blob spam, but the green blob spam is horrible, and the fact that you get one bomb the whole stage...no thanks. More power to you though for being on your way to perfecting it though.

The hardest part about Mugetu is that the blue shots are hard to predict....and her final, which I've clipped 2 times in a row with full bombs.
Gengetu isn't all that hard tbh.

The only ones left now are pretty much the low tire ones though...

SA Stage 3 Hard perfect run.

YYYYEEEESSSS.

I was really feeling it in this run. After ironing out a bunch of kinks, and applying some "fancy footwork" for Yuugi's last non-spell, I managed to get one more "legit" perfect before the year ends (in EST).

I also managed SA Stage 6 perfect up until Utsuho's fourth non-spell (a combination of a derp-death and failed experimentation), only dying in each of her last three attacks (once each). Maybe I should try a tiny bit of Lunatic? Challenging myself would improve my skills more, provided I don't rage too much.
