Some of the names of the The World Ends With You cast are a bit more interesting than the rest.

Mr. Hanekoma's first name is Sanae.
(I always thought Sanae was a female only name...)
Rhyme's real name is Raimu Bito.
And you have, ofcourse, Shiki.
(applyable for both Shikieiki and Shinki)

Some of the other character names also remind me of the Touhou cast. The third Game Master is named Konishi. Remove the n and you get...

EDIT: Also, I've been thinking about voice actors for the Touhous again. I think Yoko Littner's English VA would actually fit Marisa, if you added some more ze~'s.

In Zelda Spirit Tracks there is a little village at the sea completely inhabited by women. The reason for this is because the men of the village didn't listen to the (female) fortuneteller of the village, and went fishing even though she predicted that something awful will happen if they did. Looks like she got last laugh, since all the men got kidnapped by pirates during fishing. So now the village is all female.

This got me thinking. During the Lunar Invasion, lead by Yukari to teach the youkai a lesson, did Yukari infact send all the male youkai to the war, and thus they're inevitable doom? Perhaps the males were seeking global conquest and power, and Yukari got sick of it, so she send them to a place where they'll either ger slaughtered or captured for all eternity. Thus, there are almost no male youkai left in Gensokyo, with the remaining youkai almost all being (relatively) young females.
An interesting notion, no?

today, in a second-hand boutique, i seen a little Strawberry Shortcake skirt (with the old design of her), but with the name "Marisa" above her head. So fake, but that make me smile...how will look Marisa with that dress, with all that berries and pink? XD

I was discussing Utsuho with a friend of mine in class and the teacher came over, saw my Utsuho fanart and she actually told me that if I sent her an email about how it connects to what we were learning that day, I'd get extra credit. I still haven't done it, and it has been 2 months. x_x

So yeah, in Spirit Tracks I asked that fortune teller I mentioned in my last post what my fortune was. After asking you to tell your gender, eye color and star sign in the DS microphone she tells you a obscure fortune that most of the time doesn't have much to do with your quest and is only for comedic purposes (with the exception of one time). After that she tells you what you need for the day. She'll normaly tell you you need to have one of the aspects of the Triforce ('For today you need courage/wisdom/power!'). But this time she said something a little different:

'For today, you need charisma!'

...yeaaaahhh....you can guess what I was thinking of at that moment...
Would this mean that Remilia is the wielder of the Triforce piece of Charisma?
