Starting with the negatives: the only recurring problem that I can find are that some of the bullets are really hard to see. I know it might be partially because of the video quality, but bullets should be easily visible under all conditions, otherwise you'll run into some and it will feel like a cheap death. The camera changes are awesome, though they should be more smooth rather than the abrupt start and abrupt stop (use a sine wave). The last spell card is probably too hard for stage 1, and a few attacks before it, some bullets spawn from the bottom without any real warning, which could also lead to a cheap death.
But everything besides those? Absolutely amazing, and one of the best things I have ever seen. Keep up the good work!
Your character art is better than mine, I'm only good with special effects and backgrounds...
-I plan on changing some bullet shapes/colors later on, so don't worry about the visibility (Although they're not so hard to see ingame, it's really just the awful quality of the video, hence the comment I made there :V )
-Hm, to make the camera more smooth could pose a bit of a problem, but I'll try. After all, I added that function the same day as the video, so it's not all smoothed out yet!
-Bullets that appear from the bottom? Do you mean the fireballs? Actually those are spawned by the big red bullets, so if you pay attention to their paths, it shouldn't be a problem. And they're always aimed at you too, making them even more predictable.
-But I guess I could just nerf the last one a bit, maybe one day when I feel less evil than usual >=D Then again, it's lunatic, who plays things like that?
-Even if you say my characters look better, I really envy your awesome effects that should slow things down but miraculously won't. *Said by someone who doesn't even know how to #include files or use tasks (yes, really, I made everything without tasks. While others can't even breathe without them! :V ... Using only Mainloop is not bad at all, really!)
