//Silly Tashi! I bet everyone wants to punch that stupid freak :V
> "... Myon."
> Look at Reisen.
> "Right, Reisen?"
>"Er... Yes..." Reisen answers.
>"It is a pleasure to meet you, Reisen and Myon." Anabel smiles, "Anyway, on to the plan: We know for a fact that the main entrance to the mine is heavily guarded, as well as the conveyor belt system, which the gym leader and your men tried to use before you lost contact, isn't that correct?"
>"Yes." the uniformed man nods.
>"Alright. Now, judging from this map of the mine system..." she indicates a map on the table, "there appears to be a large air vent directly over this junction in the middle of the mine. Have you tried sending a team down that way?"
>"We considered it, but the vent is a straight vertical drop. With the equipment we have to use to get a reasonable sized force down there, as well as the time it would take, they'd hear us long before we reached the bottom."
>"I see... So the conveyors are the only other way in?"
>"Yes."
>"Hmm... Describe to me exactly what their defense consists of."
>"They're primarily using a combination of bronzor, houndour, and golbat. Half of the bronzor wait in reserve while the other half uses Protect to deflect any attack we throw at them, the bronzor then switch while the houndour and golbat cover them. Furthermore, if we manage to knock out some of them, more grunts will show up and call out their own pokemon to compensate and give their peers time to heal their pokemon."
>"And were you attacking the defenders when you sent your team in?"
>"We were not. We waited for nightfall, where we expected some of them to be asleep. We didn't think a frontal attack was necessary."
>"Hmm..."
>"So what are you thinking, Chief?" Looker asks.
>"From what he told me, I have a hunch that if we can hit the defenders with a large enough assault, it would force them to pull more guards from their posts," Anabel sage nods, "hopefully leaving the conveyors unguarded and allowing us to send someone down there to both rescue the hostages and hit them from behind, where they'll least expect it. Their behavior also seems to be intended to buy time, rather than outright hold the mine..."
