> "I thought it best to get her away from her camp, and since you had first mentioned concern over the Warlord, this place seemed the most logical place to bring her to determine what to do with her long-term, if anything. Her plans before passing out were to return home and report her failure, but allowing that didn't seem too prudent."

>"I suppose," says Reimu. "But it's not as though we can just take her prisoner."

//In a series that has run this long, yes. Even with the wide variety of existing 2hus, there is only so much one can do without expanding into OCs, and it is entertaining to work with unfamiliar personalities and motives. Shuuei is the prime example of this, and Amaya, Kiyomi, and now Kay are also really good. I also regret not nabbing Sombraluz permanently, but what's done is done there.

Anyway, back on the subject of returning to your past, it seems I need an object from our house that has survived the years, one that would be lost in the process of my returning. Would you happen to know if any such objects have been kept anywhere?"

>"Hm," says Reimu. "Well...I'm sure there's some statues at the Hijiri Temple. That place has been around forever."
>"Doesn't Kiyoshi has that museum?" says Kaori.
>"I suppose so," Reimu says. "Hm. I guess you could try to track down some antiques from the Scarlet Devil Mansion. A whole lot of those got sold in its last few decades. I'm sure someone's willing to trade for them."
>"I wonder if there's anyone left from there who might have something?" Kaori says, pursing her lips.
