>She waits, patiently looking toward some papers on a desk shelf under the main counter. A few minutes pass by, before she says, "Yes, they're still here. Alright. Alright. Thank you."
>She sets the shell back on its holder, then says, "Miss Himekaidou is interested, and will give you ten minutes of her time."

>"Her office is on the fifth floor, you'll see her secretary just outside her door," says the tengu.

>"Oh, right," says the hell raven, "You're not used to elevators." She gestures toward a couple sets of wood-patterned doors to the right. "In there."

>You follow the hell raven, who hits a button beside the doors. After a moment, a set of them slides open on their own and reveals a small. empty closet. She walks into it, wrapping her wings close around her shoulders.
>Once inside, she pushes another button from a small panel of such, and the doors close. After a moment, you feel the room begin to rise.
>"Oh, that's what the call these things," says Flandre.

>All you see are floors and ceiling.
>By the time you finish looking around, the room has stopped moving, and the doors open to reveal a different floor.

>You step out, and find yourself in a moderately-sized room, longer than it is wide. A variety of traditional plants bloom from large brass pots, filling the room with bright greenery. A set of large doors dominate the opposite wall, while a large desk stands near it. At this desk is a tall youkai with black skin, wearing an embroidered yellow shirt with wide, sweeping sleeves. Her hair is wrapped in a dark red cloth that is tied around her head. She gives you an appraising look, her face stern, then says, "You are the time traveler, yes?"

>She gives a nod and looks toward Flandre.
>"Oh, not me,"  Flandre says.
>"Then please have a seat," says the woman. She looks to you again. "Miss Himekaidou is waiting for you."

>Making your way toward the doors, you note the woman behind the desk is wearing a long skirt that matches her hair wrap, and seems to only have one shoe.
>You open the heavy doors and into a much later room, one that you imagine takes up much of the floor. Couches and tables dominate one side of the room, making a sizable living room. Greenery in small brass pots can be seen here and there. Toward the back is an actual western style bed, accompanied by a number of traditional wardrobes. Sitting at a large desk is Hatate, looking much as you remember her, perhaps a little heavier. She wears a curious dark jacket made of stiff material, and a white blouse underneath.  She looks up at you, and frowns. "...Oh! You! Now I remember the whole vanishing act!"

> "I'm glad someone other than Reimu and the Young Mistress remembers me. I was beginning to fear I am really just another face in the crowd in my time. How have you been, Hatate? You seem to have done marvelously for yourself."

>"So, I can't imagine you're here to get into to the paper," says Hatate, as she sinks down into an overstuffed chair decorated with a leaping carp motif.
