>Everyone, With me!
>Now that we can get a good look at him, let's see if we can hit his jewel head-on with a Violet Lotus. And well, if we can't see it, make do with him.
>If this seems to be of limited effectiveness, now that we have full visual contact to appraise it, switch to a Scarlet Lotus instead. Human or not, we can't afford to be too gentle.
>Seeing his Jewel isn't hard at all. It's hanging there from his thin neck, glowing brilliantly. It might not be incredibly big, but at this range, you'd be hard-pressed to miss it. It's just a matter of whether or not your power will reach it, given the field of power around him. That hasn't diminished after he crashed into your bulwark. But nevertheless, it makes a very tempting target. So you raise your scepter once again, zero in on the Grey Jewel dangling from Breakdown's neck, and fire your Violet light.
>Whether through simple proxmity or some imperceivable weakness in his own defenses, your purple beam penetrates the grey energy surrounding Breakdown and strikes his Jewel. And this direct contact has a profound result. You feel- No, you swear you can even see- your light dropping down into some unimaginable abyss. An intense darkness, a black hole of life and wellspring of depravity at once. It is from this abyss that Breakdown draws his power. More, the biker is somehow a part of this darkness. His soul is bound to it, born from it. Your light spreads out to try and fill it, but you can't even see the sides of the pit.
>The connection too grants you an insight, as it sometimes does, into not just the soul of the man, but his mind. You see nothing but an almost animal fear. You are astounded by the rampant paranoia that assaults his mind. He fears every shadow, every sound, every light. You wonder at how he could even function.
>As these revalations occur to you, Breakdown stops. The blind panic on his face fades. And he looks at you. He seems confused, but not angrily so. His body still twitches slightly, but his voice is calm for the first time when he asks, "What you trying to doing to me?"
