> You decide to keep quiet instead of bothering Patchouli.  She continues to speak quiet, unintelligible words.  The book on her lap begins to glow.  You can't help but fidget as the pain in your wrist flares up.  Bones begin to snap, and your fractured bones return to their rightful places.  Your skin prickles and stings as your skin sews itself up, albeit crudely.  The light fades and Patchouli doubles over in a coughing fit.  She nearly drops your wrist, which still hurts.
> "Phew...hah...just need to get that bandaged..." she rasps.

Wouldn't it be better to thank her as a friend rather than assume she's treating this as a business transaction?

Regarding the dream Konngara: I don't think the Hakurei Barrier surrounds Sanae's dream world, so it might be weird if someone there could connect to it. We may have to bring her to Gensokyo first. If she's opaque and tangible.

> "O...of course..."  Patchouli says as she crawls over to the sink.  She opens up a small door beneath it and rummages around until she finds some bandages and a lime green bottle.  Using the hand towel Sakuya wrapped your wrist in before, she dabs it in the green liquid and wipes away the blood.  For all the pain you're in right now, this is the only thing that doesn't hurt.  Then, she wraps your wrist in layers of bandages.
> "Leave it for a week.  Don't move it around," she says, seeming to finally catch her breath.

> "Hmph."  Patchouli makes a small, disgruntled noise.  "Well, if you need me, I'll be at my desk."

> You go to the sink and, using the hand towel Patchouli left behind, clean your face and the bruises and cuts on your arms and legs.  After a few minutes, you think you're okay.  You put your sleeve back on, and it hides the bandages on your wrist pretty well, you think.

Just trying to freshen my thoughts: Yukari claims that when we fix the problem of the worlds bumping into each other (by assigning another successor by her reckoning) then the whole "being in the wrong time" thing will fix itself. Somehow. Also, we can draw the picture for Patchouli and ask her what she thinks the wings mean because no one has any clue about that.

> You wipe out the sink, leave the hand towel to one side, and exit into the library.
> The place is a mess, even by its usual standards.  There are piles of books here and there, and smudged out magic circles on the ground.  You wander around through the shelves until you come across Patchouli's desk by the front door.  You can't see past the piles of books that have amassed there.  The fireplace nearby has been lit and a savory smell emits from the cauldron hovering above the embers.  A dozen of Alice's dolls are chopping, mincing, crushing, and basically doing anything you can do with ingredients nearby.  Yet others are tending to the coals with a long poker.  By the front door is a magic circle the size of a pot lid, emitting a light that reaches the ceiling.  You see Alice, kneeling in front of Patchouli's desk and holding her hands towards a procession of dolls that are holding hands and dancing in a circle.  Her fingers move like she's playing the piano, and she's so concentrated that she doesn't see you coming.

> You walk around to the other side of the desk.  Sure enough, Patchouli is there with three books open in her lap.  Is she reading them all at once?!  She gives you a pointed look, as if to tell you to leave her alone.

> Patchouli coughs into her sleeve.  "Making crystals."

> You leave Patchouli to her devices and walk back towards the shelves.  You did see Koakuma back when Sakuya brought Patchouli to fix your wrist, but where could she be now?  The book cart she usually rides in on is near some particularly messy shelves to your right.

> You head over to the books to your right.  There are so many of them.  You don't know where one shelf ends and the next begins.  You have to be careful not to step on any of them, lest you invoke Patchouli's wrath.  At the end of the aisle, you see Koakuma on one of those bookshelf ladders, reaching for something on the upper shelves.
