>Oh no, we have to dig through the valuable gems to find the cursed shard. Hopefully none of these extremely valuable gems (which don't seem to belong to anybody) will slip into our pockets or sleeves.

> What a disaster!  You plunge your hands into the gems, slipping them into your sleeves with each confirmation that they are not what you're looking for.  So far, you think you're making good progress.  After a while of sifting the rocks around, the blue glow starts to fade away.

> Let's continue digging.

> You keep digging, and digging.  As you search, you continue to slip gems into your sleeves, until you're sure you couldn't fit a single stone.  The blue glow fades, then the purple one, until only the bronze remains.  It becomes more centralized under your left knee, and by the time you've reached bedrock you feel something poking your leg.

> The money you're going to make with these gems outweighs how bad that line was.  You meander along the bottom of the lake, looking around for anything out of the ordinary.  The ribbons don't reach as far as the vegetation you are swimming through now, so you see nothing suspicious.
> If Ran's shikigami were here, that would be very bad, because a cat would not be able to survive in water this deep.  Fortunately, you do not see any cats here.

> Bursting out of the water, you crawl onto shore and take a look at the contents of your sleeves.

>Let's head toward Eientei.

> You make sure everything's where it should be, and lift off into the sky.  You start flying south towards Eientei and the Human Village, leaving the mountains behind and flying over open water.  You soon find you have no need for the flashlight; the light of the morning sun is already peaking over the horizon.  Soon, it will be fully in the sky, sending light through the shrine gate.  You fly on and on until you're over what you're sure is the Bamboo Forest; you see the tips of a familiar vegetation peeking up over the waves.

> You dive down into the water.  It's hard to get your bears, what with all the bamboo.  As you're readjusting yourself, you see a girl in a peach-colored dress and rabbit ears pass you by, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.  Then, another one follows her.  They look normal, but they have rabbit ears.  They're youkai rabbits?!  None of them pay attention to you.
