He'll be glad that Eirin, Kaguya, and Reisen don't have issues, at least major ones, with him "declaring war on the moon" back in 1969.

What if Touhou 15 features a completely new cast, including playable characters, but still takes place in Gensokyo, and in-game dialogues explicitly say that the game takes place a few days after the events of 14.3 and even mentions the names of old characters, despite them not showing up at all?

Then what would the point be? The point of the Hakurei Border is to keep the real world out of Gensokyo. If you add a self-destruct function to the border, you essentially destroy the border, allowing the real world to come in, which is the exact OPPOSITE of the goal. That's like in EoSD if Remilia had a panic button that activated a giant fan that blew the red mist away.

What if Touhou 15 was about kids being gapped in by Yukari?
