From 14000 to less than 1000 bauxite because I tried too hard to get Zuikaku only to get dem destroyers. I'm in dispair, my fleet girls have left me in dispair!

Ah, the top level fleet has a destroyer as flagship. Cool, easy XP. Wonder why the other pictures aren't loading - oh well, let's go! Can't be that bad.

Turns out only the flagship was a destroyer, and everything else was a carrier.

Still no *Kaku builds, and the waters seem to be clear of any KTKMs too.
Kongou decided to drop though. Several months after I received the pleasure of crafting her.

Hahaha, that sig has perfect timing!

Just got Zuihou from crafting recently, but my full carriers are still limited to Akagi and Kaga. Just need to level Chiyoda up, and I'll have all of the light carriers. Oh, and added Hiei to my battleship family as the first Kongou class

Building up a nice little fleet.....

Edit: And Kirishima drops from an S-rank on 2-2 boss! Woot!

Edit:
That feel when you craft two of the same ship in a row with the same recipe... this makes 3 Fusou and no Yamashiro.
On the bright side, I got KTKM as a drop and leveled Shimakaze and Maya up to Remodel, so I'm starting to clean out my stash of unused ships by Modernizing both of them. I've already maxed Ise out for everything but AA, so I was starting to run out of room for more ships.
*doesn't like scrapping because it feels too mean*

Double Edit:
Tried another BB and AV... This makes 2nd Houshou in a row (already got) and Ise (already got).
I should probably stop crafting... I was around 4k Steel and now I'm down to 700.
... or maybe I should try for one more BB recipe.

1. There will be an event with special maps and shipdaughter rewards for completion.
2. Five new ships (2 I-type submarines, 2 cruisers, and Musashi) will be added to the game.
3. Kongou will receive a high-tier second remodeling.
4. Some event maps will have a day time battle after the night battle or night battle only. So be ware of enemy torpedo ships and plan your fleet accordingly.

I believe this event will be 20 days which I believe is longer than previous events though I might be wrong.

E1 cleared, E2 is a bitch

still puzzling how my third attempt at E2, i wasn't forced into day battle, i even had my boss exped ready uurrgh(if you retreat from a battle you have to refill and resend your support exped out, resource drain)

Maybe clearing your cache will let you in. Worked for me.

For E2 I am using a sub (with emergency repair equiped) to avoid damage to the others and my team is composed of destroyers and heavies due higher night efficiency and Kongou as the flagship for tanking and to deal with the remaining units on the day battle. Defeated the boss 2 times, lost 3 out of 4 emergency repairs :V

people say to not bring bb/cvls for E2, but your kongou seems to be okay(?)

also for those who still can't log in i can't stress enough to use an api link instead of a vpn, everyone i know who's still experiencing the maint (well, 3 people i know personally only but w/e) use the vpn and the rest of us using the api dont encounter problems (clearing cache should work for most but i have one or two friends mentioned above whose cache clearing didnt work)

Kongou just doesn't take damage because of Gouya. Throughout the nodes the only ones that can attack her are the 2 CLs at the node before the boss' but they tend to miss their shots. At the boss fight she can deal with any of the enemies even if she gets major damage, so I think it's a good strategy to have a BB on the fleet. More than that is a no go.

And those damn disconnects in the middle of the fights are costing me some good 600 ammo for nothing.

Commited a stupid mistake and Gouya was sunk. Now I am sad. And screwed.

Anyways, been having very poor luck with the sorties - keep taking crits before the boss and forcing me to turn back.

Seems it all went to my crafting instead - picked up Souryuu and Haruna. Now just need to find dat Kongou......

Got her earlier today. Seems to be similar to Imuya with a little more HP and luck, statistically. and yes, lewd

On another note, has anybody passed E-2 yet? Curious to see how steep the difficulty increase is.
