Also NNR, I happened to count the number of players and realized you put an extra empty playerslot in there, perhaps you should fix that?
btw, if you do manage to rope conqy and shadoweh that would make us having 9 perfectly capable, Actually PlayingTM players ready for some mafia action, as opposed to making us just sit for a month again to wait for those dreaded 3 slots to fill up one by one as some of us get busier and eventually quit. You would also incentivize people to hammer your setups too! Just food for thought, although while it may not be the dream game you have in your mind, wouldn't it be great also if you can kick off the game right here right now and watch the world burn?
Also, the following is totally offtopic and nothing personal, but I am kiiiiinda worried if how mods can insist on hosting a game of a hard-to-fill size and thereby delaying the queue for a month will become a recurring pattern here. We saw that happen once and it not only completely butchered the interest in maf temporarily, but also resulted in a despairly embarassing low quality game due to player disinterest. I think our old set of rules worked in the past due to just enough people playing, but I believe that given our current mafia metagame, we should make the reasonable call to limit the duration of signups to a week before mods should definitely consider downsizing their setup or temporarily delaying their game, while that limit does seem pretty short on paper, but let's also consider mods can definitely drum up interest preemptively and invite players inbetween games, or how most players (myself at least) will only have so long to be devoted to a game (that's never starting) before we lose interest or become busy and gotta out. If mods chose inaction between games and couldn't scramble for enough players only when other games ended, I believe its kind of the mod's problem and the playerbase shouldn't be punished for that.
