I've been testing 'seeding' the RNG and the most pictures I've got a replay to take of that scene is 5.

Your replay consistently failed after the 5th picture for me, if anyone gets it to complete please record and pass along the .avi, without a recording the time is worthless other than showing mine can be improved.

The song playing during 12-6 is very fitting.

More work for me?  Not really, assuming 50 comments (more than possible) it wouldn't take more than 10 minutes total with the systems I have in place for tracking all this.  Good thing I worked it out in advance rather than on the fly, made keeping track of comments, players, times and replays muuuuuuch easier.

Nope.

Runs with no sound, horribly loud or overpeaked sound, or mixed-in music are unacceptable.

Although I guess it can't hurt to ask if I can play the music for the stage overlaid over the ILs from that stage (i.e., from Stage 1 play 1-1 through 1-6 back to back with no breaks in the music)

Just doubled my shot count on 12-6 from 765 to 1530 trying to do what I've already done. This game has been out for two years already, how come this hasn't been patched yet?

Is there any info on the glitch you know of to make it a little fairer to do?

12-6 success! I saw 169.91 after I cleared it, replay played through successfully but ended at 169.95. Not sure how to deal with this, but it's a replay that sometimes works so I'll take it!

edit 2: I got a 180.27 with...a bad first shot of all things, delaying the third shot, causing less bullet, causing more delay.
edit 3: Here's where I'm at.  I'm going to beat this.  After I do, if you beat it back, it's yours.  Also I'm not updating the table until I do, darn it!
edit 4: 180.38.  Sanae moves the wrong way 2/3 of the time I dodge successfully, 3/4 of the time I don't.  I fail the first shot on 20% of tries.
edit 5: keep dying to random part.  fail first shot 50% of tries.

5.010% slow rate?  That's more than 5%...... (since we're now in a frame war every bit of slowdown matters)

Comparing the 2 replays, mine has a slow rate of .620%.  Meaning that, if we had the same slow rate, my time would have been better (if I had 5%, I would have had a 180.60 at least, yours probably would be 180.45 at my slow rate).  Meaning I have to react faster because I'm not running at an average of 57 FPS.  Since we're at a frame level...that matters.  if it was 4.9% I'd be complaining but I wouldn't do anything about it since it's less than the accepted 5%.

Hopefully though I can just beat this so I don't have to worry about slow rate having an impact on anything.

Yeah, just out of curiousity, why IS 5% the accepted maximum slowdown rate?

Not that I really have any problem with the number since slowdown isn't something I generally have to worry about, just 5% strikes me as rather arbitrary.
