>Head towards the palace!

> "Yeah, it's the biggest building!" Mystcia chimes.

> "Koishi is probobly there..." Kogasa said.

> "I wonder who the others Parsee mentioned were..." Wriggle muttered, sounding a little cautious.

> You start to fly towards the palace, but you suddenly fall to the ground as you take off.

> Sukia looks at you with a drunken smile. "Now now, I helped you get here, so now it's your turn to help me. I wanna find my freind Yuugi. She's a one-horned Oni, there's a star on her horn too, and she has..." Sukia looks and notices something in common with all five of the group, before her booze-addled brain attempted to make sense of it: "Large growths on her chest?" finished, not entirely sure.

> "Oh, and she loves to brawl, and ALWAYS carries a red Sake dish." Sukia added.

>Commence the search for Yuugi, splitting up if necessary.

> You recall Reimu wanted to find Yuugi anyway, so finding Yuugi will lead you to Reimu, and possibly Koishi at some point anyway.  "That was fast..." Sukia said.

> Sukia suddenly splits into five smaller versions of herself. One jumps on the shoulders of each party member, except the fifth, which stays behind to hold the sake jar, now comical amounts larger than her.

> "When one of you find her all the others can know this way!" the mini-sukia holding the sake said.

> You, Wriggle, Mystcia and Kogasa all split up to look for Yuugi.

> It's not long until you hear a weird sound, and what seems to be the sound of wings flapping.

>Wonder if it's just Mystia singing on the job.
> No, you'd understand that, this sound is new, and if you heard her, your vision would be darkening. While Youkai aren't fully effected, they still have their vision impaired somewhat.

>Wings? A bat maybe?
>Investigate.

> Maybe it's a bat...
> You head towards the noise, and find several youkai fighting a flock of... flying eyeballs. Bat-like wings, and big eyes if literally all they are. The eyes are fireing lasers and danmaku-like bullets towards the various youkai, who appear to have ran out of tricks, as they're attempting to flee.

>Try and assist the youkai!
>Have we seen those... flying.. eye... bats... somewhere before?

[I'll answer these in reverse because it makes more sense]

> No, you've never seen these creatures before. The mini-Sukia on your shoulder also states she's never seen them before.

> You prepare for combat. You can do the following:

- Physical combat, your ability in this isn't brilliant, but these bat-eyes aren't very big, and lack limbs
- Nonspell Danmaku. Unlike most nonspells, yours dosen't have a defined pattern order, it's a random sequence of attacks, involveing aimed shots, aimed laser barrages, arcs of danmaku and rings of danmaku eminated from you.
- Spellcards:
Moon Sign: Moonlight Ray
Night Sign: Night Bird
Darkness Sign: Demarcation
Eclipse Sign: Lunar Eclipse [A new spell you've developed recently, after the Book Incident, it's like a combination between Demarcation and Moonlight Ray]
- Find something to make use of.

> You start fireing your nonspells. The eyeballs are pretty quick, and although a couple of them are hit and fall to the ground, they turn their assult upon you, various energy blasts heading towards you, fired from their Irises.

>What is Night Bird like?
>Which spellcard gives us the most mobility?

> Indeed, but they were not battles where you were outnumbered.

> Night Bird is a rapid fire spray of multiple cresent-like arcs of danmaku from your nonspell. You can increase the density, or thickness of the waves, but doing so uses more energy, and the card takes longer to recharge. [Note: Basically difficulty of the spell = more energy and more downtime, Easy being weakest but fastest to recharge, Lunatic being powerful but slow]

> In terms of mobility:

Night Bird is the most mobile
Demarkation is the next most mobile
Moonlight Ray is near immobile
Lunar Eclipse is immobile

>How much denser is the normal version of Night Bird compared to our non-spell danmaku?
>How long does each version take to recharge?

> Significantly denser. Your nonspell arc is only a single arc of two waves. Night Bird is multiple, far faster arcs, although they have one wave unless you use a higher power version.

> It varies based on how long the card is used for, and if it's dispelled or not. A 2 second use of a Lunatic version would cool quite a bit faster than a dispelled Normal.

> You activate your Night Sign: Night Bird spell in it's second most powerful form. The ensureing barrage of danmaku quickly wipes out the Eyes.

> You feel a little stronger when you realise the gratitude the Youkai you just helped have in their eyes. Not much, but you do feel a bit re-energised after your long trip.

> You thank the Youkai, before flying off.

> You follow the directions, and find a red portal blocking the path halfway down the street. There is a figure with long, blonde hair standing in front of it, and you can see she's holding a red dish in her right hand, and you can just make out the horntip over her head.
