Any way to get Bullet Patterns from TH without HUD and etc?

Pretty much what I'm after is a way to have bullet patterns from bosses, rendered/animated in a movie file, without TH's HUD, on-screen character, enemies, etc. I haven't the slighest idea how to go about doing that though, but maybe someone here does?

Specifically, I would want to use something like this for a Windows Dreamscene (Dreamscene is an animated background for your Desktop, provided from movie files, for those who didn't know).

you might wanna try recording a certain portion of the screen. i don't know the exact sizes though... but there are probably some recording utilities that let you do this.
you might be able to set the boundaries for what you wanna record with fraps.
