I've checked around but haven't really found any threads about this that weren't old and long dead, if my eyesight happened to be horrible and I missed the specific thread, please move this request there.
Anyway, I'm sure many of you have heard many, if not all of the songs I'm referring to already, but there seems to be a rising amount of artists who have decided to give composing in ZUN's style a go, be it for fanmade games (Momiji and Mitori's phantasm stage and boss themes are the clearest example, but there are others, like Bee's song) or for outright audio entertainment.
Some of these artists have composed quite the number of tracks, such as Yosiyosi or Wanwan, and upon discussion with a group of friends, we were wondering if this was actually a rising trend in japan, and whether or not it might've managed to make a name for itself, as in being mentioned as a specific music genre other than "ZUN-style". Being the Touhou fans that we are, we're obviously pretty interested in finding as many great compositions amongst these fanmade attempts at ZUN music, but we've hit a roadblock as to how far we can go investigating these without the proper terminology for search, so I figured maybe someone amongst this community might have suggestions as to where to go from here, if that term for ZUN-music I mentioned really exists, be it english or japanese... anything, really.
Thanks in advance!
