...from this concert:
http://do-jin-friendship.info/circles.htmlThat is definitely one of the biggest perks to living in this country, that I can go see most of my favorite Touhou/doujin artists live in concert (the exception being T. Stebbins :argh: )
But seriously, A-One knows how to put on a show. Pretty much everything they've been putting out recently has been their Toho Eurobeat albums, but when they play it live, they give it a stronger rock feel with live guitars and drums. And they seem to have a dedicated costumer who makes some incredible outfits for the band:

Unlucky Morpheus are mind-blowing. Powerful singers and insane guitarists. Pretty much the be-all, end-all of vocal speed metal arrangements.
And it turns out that tonight was Foreground Eclipse's final performance, since they broke up after the show. I'm not big into screamo, but they are extremely competent and they have some crazy fans. Their show last year was the first time I saw a mosh pit at a Touhou concert.
I seen a ton of other circles live, too, and I really wish they had more chances to perform overseas (although I think A-One, EastNewSound and Yuuhei Satellite went to China a few months ago for some doujin event-like thing). But then again, it's impressive they have enough of a audience in Japan to be able to rent out venues like Zepp Tokyo. Some circles even released DVDs of their past concerts, so I guess that's one way to share it, heh.
