Same with the id Super Pack not including Q4, ET:QW, or Wolfenstein (2009). Last one may be debatable, and Wolf:ET is fine omitted (it's FOSS anyway), but still this keeps me from buying it.

Meh. Nothing I'm really dying for. I'll get Portal 2 when it's cheaper. I have enough to tide me over for some time to come right now.

Well, I guess 2.49 is a price where I can do nothing wrong with Terraria, regardless of how much I will play it in the end :V
(Also Euro-people getting screwed, because it's 2,49 for us as well, but ?, which makes it about 3.50$. Still cheap, but... :matsuri2: )

I bought Terraria when it was less on sale: $7 ish. Now it's $2? I feel ripped off. And it was only a few days ago too.

Also, oh god Jamestown...my friend bought it during the sale and...oh my god it is an amazingly fun shmup when you have friends playing along with you. Up to 4 players in one screen, but we only got 3 at most tonight. But damn we went through a lot.

Though I must say it's a bit easy in terms of bullet dodging and density IMO. I guess it's more blow up things than to actually dodge up until the last level though :V

You think that's bad, I payed $45 on DNF just the other day thinking I was baller to get it cheaper than everyone else and ahead of them too.

Yay, both the games I wanted went on sale the last day! $40 is a done deal.

... now to wait a few years to get a machine that can handle Portal 2.

Yes, but there's a hell of a lot more work put into the visuals. My computer lags like a bitch in some areas of Portal 2 while as it's relatively fine with Portal 1.

So yeah, you can still run it. ...How well? Well...

Magicka is fun! The most powerful beam spell is QFQFASS. If you need a strong beam faster than it takes to combine the elements to get that, the Mighty ASS Beam is another good one to use.

Note - learn how to imbue your weapon with spells, and imbue it with Mine spells. When you cast them, you sling them out in a straight line like that.

Shield -> Arcane -> Water -> Fire -> Water -> Fire -> Lightning is a very damaging set of mines, and if you can make big-health enemies walk across each one, it does loads. You'll also be wailing on them while they're marching across it, too, so even *more* damage!

Consider using an Ice Beam on targets that get hit by your Steam Lightning Mines - you'll freeze them in place so you can deal with them later.

Multiplay is going to be required once you hit about Chapter 11, because there's just no way to kill the Yeti's and Trolls you'll be fighting by yourself when they start coming two at a time.

Heads up: Life + Shield doesn't do what you think it does. At all. It won't heal you.

Shield. Continually summon zombies (inside).
Release shield. Spam arcane to heal.

Usually works better in single player when you aren't continually kiling other players.

Oh yeah - if you combine any element with Shield and self-cast it, you get a nullification aura. It'll come in handy around the later chapters, when the Dwarves are slinging out 4k damage Earth Boulders. Having an Earth resist aura keeps you from being gibbed.

GOTY. It includes all the DLC AFAIK.
