I guess it's called "Hopping Tenshi" (http://3-me.net/flashdir/hopten/).
Mini-review: This game represents everything that's wrong with the gaming industry these days. Sloppy controls, screwy losing-conditions (i.e. you can fall the entire length of the screen, but if you're 1 km higher than the ground, you die if you land on it), ridiculous difficulty with no options for *changing* difficulty, "start all over from the very beginning on ONE failure", and HORRABLY ADDICTING.

hehe yeah same here. I was playing Touhoumon and thought it was a nice little tune i i left it for a while. In fact i held left or right at certain parts to make her contanstly jump in that direction. she never fell XD haha.

KimikoMuffin, I've tested the option screen, changed the username (at the 3rd option) to 'test', then disabled the second option (which had High Score in katakana -- I can't read kanji T__T), then tested the game; did some 24000 points, and didn't see my 'test' username there (edit: with 'there' I mean, the highscore table).. (don't forget to change your username and the score save option back :p)
Also.. dunno what a Let's Play video is.. is it a demonstration? Does it have to have comments, or just gameplay?

Let's play are forum game that the creator pick a game and play it till the end where he present it in various media and/or screenshot form where the creator can add anything to it to make it more interesting while usually let the viewers decide on certain gameplay choices like what class to level, pick which girl, etc.
The name let's play essentially mean, Hey let's play this game together!

It goes into tinier clouds spaced a hell of a lot further apart, goes upwards, upside-down into heaven and into a giant shrine. The platforms also get even smaller and turn into Tenshirocks. I haven't payed attention to anything past there for concentrating.

Hey, I bet I'm a little late to this discovery, but did you guys notice that in "Hopping Tenshi", Tenshi has BorderH4x, similar to Yukari's special ability in Subterranean Animism?

She can jump straight up. Only problem is that if you're already moving at the slowest speed and tap the other direction, you'll stay at that speed. You have to work at it.

I wonder if you all noticed there's been a few updates with the Hopping Tenshi game. It seems some frame rate issues were fixed...and now on top of that Tenshi can now meet her "game over" in different ways instead of just crashing into the Hakurei Shrine.

comments:
- among the abilities you're required to have (by the game), is the ability of stabilizing yourself in stationary platforms (so that you can wait for the moving ufos to approach you); stabilizing in the moving ones are a bit more difficult, one step further, but you'll eventually get it (keep in mind that the moving ufos don't affect the angle for your next jump)
- be careful when you're in a moving ufo and you approach the corner, for there's a small moment when the ufo vanishes (yes, they become unsteppable); you may want to jump to the above or below (if available) platforms, or want to avoid the situation beforehand
- let's say there are two red ufos moving in the same direction, and the red ufo from above is lagging behind; often, you'll be able to jump through what's seemingly an impossible distance, other times you'll really have to resort to the tip below.. (for the first case, take in account the time between when you leave the red ufo below, and when you're supposed to reach the next platform; this should be enough time for the above red ufo to be reached)
- now let's say that there are two blue ufos moving in the same direction and you're near the corner; as mentioned before, simply staying on the blue ufo below might (there are chances that you might not, though) make you fall because of the ufo disappearing and not reappearing fast enough; what do you do, if you can't jump towards the center of the screen safely? You jump towards the corner, because the same vanishing property that the moving ufos have, is the property that temporarily "shortens" the distance of both moving ufos (it reverts back to the original distance when the moving ufo from below enters the corner)
- with practice, you'll become better at judging the jump lenght (both the normal jump and the one through the corner), feeling the moving ufo's motion and their collision boxes (and yours), foreseeing paths; the key would be practice, in order to trivialize the sections before the ufos; getting to this section more constantly gives you more chances to try to overcome it

It seems those three circles are her main form of attack for type A while type B has those circles around her do damage. It's pretty weird, but it's neat.
Not sure what the "H" and "O" cpower-ups are for though... I know they're supposed to be like H2O, but I'm not sure what they do...

H gives you bombs when the Blue arrow reaches it's outline, O gives you lives when the orange arrow reaches it's outline.

I'm finding Sanae A to be a lot of fun. She does a crapload of damage with those circles, but they have to be on the enemy to do anything, otherwise she has to rely on full forward focus power.
Bomb is akin to Stardust Reveire, so I figured ways to take advantage pretty fast (especially since I can overlap all 3 circles on an enemy during it). Shame my deathbomb skill is the same in this game as it is in the actual games (i.e. terrible...).

Click a bit after the first couple of Zs, but in time for Yukari to strike before the third Z appears. Works more often than not.
Lunatic is totally random as far as I can tell, though.
EDIT, so I just failed ten times in a row on "hard". even managed to get kicked once. oh well maybe this thing is completely random and the only change between difficulties is how much the RNG is stacked against you.

EDIT2: I'm mistaking Okuu options for enemy bullets. Not a good sign.
EDIT3: WORTHLESS BOMB. Doesn't clear screen despite appearing to nuke it, nor does it do any worthwhile damage to the boss.

I seriously loled at Reimu B. Red strings? That miko sure gets around if you know what I mean. (Yeah, I know they're probably supposed to be lasers because the engine doesn't have enough mojo for the regular amulets but red strings are funnier :P )

Kinda bothers me that bullets can still kill you while your bomb is active if they get you while the circle is somewhere else, but I can manage. Interesting they went with the MoF/SA bomb system, but I'm used to it, so it doesn't really bother me.

Judging by the fact his first 3 attacks can be avoided by staying in his face and the 4th one also has a clear blind spot (not to mention his final two nonspells are quite clearly Perfect Freeze), I have the feeling that boss is a real circle-nine...
Also, loving the touhou-ified Northern Lights remix that plays when you fight Clairvoyance (Stage 4 Artificial).

Oct15, they fixed the bug that makes the flash not work.
My current record is 29925km, but that's from running in my Win98 system. It runs the flash on a freaking 18/60fps, with low quality and all :V
I can imagine how fast this game goes at full 60fps. *imagination* looks like dribbling Tenko or something.
BTW, this guy can't be ZUN himself, right? I mean, they're just nicknames. Anyone can use any name.

"A" Has these flash cards and disco lights that float around. Idk what the disco lights do.
"B" Has Rings that bring items to you, but the shot is horribly weak.
"C" Has raging nukes that spin around you and stop in place when focused.

Plazed it again and had some issues:
- Naruko. She is just stupidly hard and unfair for a Stage 2 boss (at least on normal).
- Sanae's "Utusho's Nuclear Balls" attack. It makes playing the game virtually impossible, because the balls don't deal that much damage and they can make incoming bullets invisible.
- Playing the game in general really goes on my eyes making it even harder to play.
On the plus side, Stage 4 boss music is lovely. Listening to it while I'm writing this.

got 9xxx on my first try.. died to expecting a ufo to appear on the other side of the screen, but it kinda didn't (they kinda lag). After many bad attempts later (I swear to god the hitbox of the satellites are random and resizing as you play. aghahga), I got 16624...I died because I couldn't really determine where the puny clouds were in relation to the smoke from the upside down volcano. wahhh!!! ='(.

It's supposed to be like Kanako's spinning moon effect from MoF, if anything touches the circles while you're unfocused it takes tones of damage. Basiccly the strongest shot type.

It's supposed to be like Kanako's spinning moon effect from MoF, if anything touches the circles while you're unfocused it takes tones of damage. Basiccly the strongest shot type.
Durr hurr, I can't believe I missed that. I haven't played MoF in forever...
But it's so distracting, I hate that shot-type so much.

Anyone unlocked Spell Practice in Glimmering Night Parade (IN in flash)?
Some of the Last Words are actually pretty tough... Especially since unlike IN, you can't end the cards early by reducing their HP; you have to time them all out.
EDIT: Alright, something's weird about this game... I beat the EX stage and am currently trying to beat it on all difficulties. However, in Spell Practice there's a full page of spellcards past the Extra stage ones that is totally blank... Anyone have any idea what those could be? They can't be Last Words since those are listed along with the rest of the spellcards of their respective owners, so I'm stumped. Honestly, its almost like there's another stage and boss...

I'm told there's a secret Phantasm, but I question that since the actual Imperishable Night never had one... Then again, there wasn't really a way to tell that PCB had one until you already unlocked it, right? I dunno, but I'm going to keep playing anyways. If I find something I'll post about it, if not I'll just have fun.

How? You start with 0.00 power and have no way with which to gain more, and the HP takes forever to go down...

As shown in these pictures above, capturing every spellcard in this room isn't enough to enable the rest.
I have every level enabled for stage practice as well (all teams/solo characters, all difficulties). Perhaps I haven't tried to clear Extra Stage with all characters, though.
It's also possible that said remaining cards aren't even implemented.

Last Words are only accessable from Spell Practice. The attacks you encounter during the story by having enough point items, not losing a life on the level or boss, having enough power upon defeating the boss, and being on Normal mode or higher are actually "Last Spell" cards (so they're still something special, just not Last Words).
Could also be 'clear everything with everyone', If the creators are complete dicks. I.E. Every difficulty, Every card, with every character set.
That'd suck, but hopefully thats not the case (and I doubt that would be the case since you only have to beat the game once to unlock EX with all characters regardless of which team you used, and likewise, you can use anyone in spell practice no matter who you beat Extra with).
If someone here actually has flash, in theory, they could open the game in it directly and see if such a stage exists (and if so, what is set to unlock it).

Seems fun, but the boss at the end of stage 2 (the Predator) is proving to be really annoying... >.< Utsuho's control rod seems to be hurting more then help, yet at the same time if I just use the fists on him his claws will out-range me.

THIS I can help with. The trick is to not stop moving, whenever hes gone, just move until he drops in, then shoot the hell out of him. Or punch. Catch him by suprise as well, if hes attacking first.

I'm currently reaching the 3rd stage boss, the Reimus are easy to get past through if you take advantage of the range of your low kicks
edit: okay, even the Predator becomes easy with the low kicks, now trying to improve myself against the 3rd boss..

I haven't played the other games in this thread yet, but man tenshi hop is addictive. I lol'd at the new pictures it gives you for various heights when you fail.
Had a bit of trouble getting it to run smooth, so closed a few programs and still runs a bit crap. windows 7's new feature I beleive, make flash games jog on the odd occasion to increase difficulty. GENIUS!
EDIT : flaflaflan is pretty fun actually lol. 75 so far! 141 then I messed up horribly lol
