EDIT: If you wanted to know, I chose Medicine because she isn't really popular and I love her. With the lake/water thingy I wanted to represent that she is like alone, or isolated would be the proper term.

It's applicable, but I would be lying if I said if that's where I got the idea. :p

It's actually from the live-action  "Blood: The Last Vampire (2009)" movie. The looking glass is a metaphor for the illusion of peace created for ordinary humans so they would not see the horrific massacres between the Chiropteran and humans.

IIRC the quotes were:

We'll come out eventually. Welcome to the other side of the looking glass.

She's out there, searching...searching for a way back to the other side of the looking glass.

Now that you mention it, the name of the narrating character in that movie is Alice.

Please replace the first version of Lost Dream, Broken Dream with this:

It's remixed from the first version so it should sound a little better. Still pales in comparison to Sercan's version though. >.< (I really like his piano sounds, mine just sounds weird and FM synth-y) I'd fix my mix of Tabula Rasa too, if not for the fact that I forgot to save it before rendering...

...I just can't control Midi reverbs without arousing too much distortion...am I just inadequate? Maybe this is just what I get for using a pre-made midi...*depression*

Constructive criticism, Sercy...

The lips look a bit large, and they don't quite taper at the corners. I think it might be a better idea to just remove them, personally.

I like criticism, it helps me know where I need to improve. I'm thinking of removing the outline and just coloring the lips a different shade like in most western animations.

For me, this is the best thing I've ever drew, and I still think it's not good enough.
