> Pull out the necessary money (lucky us that we have exactly that much left!) and leave it on the table.
> Begin eating. With as much elegance as one can muster while eating ramen, of course.
>You pay the tanuki. She takes it, and gives you both glasses of water.
>The ramen isn't too bad, but frankly you could make better. For something that has been sitting, though, it has kept fairly well: the vegetables haven't gotten too soggy andthe noodles haven't collapsed into limp piles. It's difficult to keep any real sense of elegance while eating ramen, but you at least manage to keep from getting it all over the place. Dreamy does not do nearly as well in that regard, but at least she keeps from slashing it on you. That all said, even though it's below your standard, it's tasty enough (if a bit overspiced) and remarkably heartening. Frankly, you could have done with this earlier.
>Dreamy finishes first, or rather she runs out of momentum about halfway through her meal, and then proceeds to start sorting what is left into respective parts of the bowl. It takes you a bit longer to finish, but you leave nothing behind.
