You found Konngara at the Hakurei Shrine, and learned from her that Reimu is still alive but in critical condition, and that there's a girl named "Kikuri" in Hell's Moon. You still don't know what Kikuri is doing on the surface, though, but it seems like a case of Communication Break.

I don't see her as being a redemption-seeker, I see her as being the scorpion in the "scorpion and the frog" story, where her excuse is "I'm always hungry because that's what I am, and there's no point in doing anything about it, even if I really want friends". Kinda like how Parsee used to sit on her bridge all the time and be jealous of everything.
Problem is, Parsee doesn't give two shits about Lumia, so if Lumia wants someone to read her mind and help her, she's barking up the wrong tree.

I should probably go ahead and tell you what I was thinking of before: Emi seemed to have been paying a lot of attention to Lumia when she was awake, from my point of view. So, since I am a terrible, terrible shipper, I was tossing around in my head the idea of somehow hooking up Lumia and Emi. As Sect, I think it would've been hilarious, for obvious reasons, but as Parsee, it would've been something of a terrible idea, since Lumia's a fucktard, Emi's a good girl, Lumia's a fucktard, Emi seems to be, at first glance, a bit naive (uncorraborated, since we haven't really had the chance to talk to her), Lumia's a fucktard, Lumia's a fucktard, and Parsee doesn't know Emi well enough to know if she could effectively keep Lumia in line.
So, yeah.

Let's hold off on taking that approach. That approach will only make things worse, as I said to Yukari. It'll just piss Kikuri off more. She did all this because she wanted a normal life; preventing her from having one via a different method won't help.
I don't plan to just let her get away clean, though. I've got an idea, don't worry.

Okay, I'm going to bed now. I don't want to spoil precicely what I've got in mind, but I'm not planning on letting her just get away with everything. Yes, I plan to let her have a normal life, but, well, there will be consequences for her actions. I do, however, need to talk to her first, ask her how she feels about what she was doing. I expect she'll feel bad about at least some of what she did, especially if the results are shoved in her face.
You know, I just had an idea that I think should be discussed, although it does assume that I'm right about Kikuri feeling bad about at least some of what she did. What if we just publicize the fact that she's responsible for everything that's happened? We could go find Aya or Hatate (both if possible, but Aya's tendency to... embellish the truth might mean we shouldn't use her, unless the parser doesn't plan to portray Aya in that fashion) and explain everything that's been going on. And we'd make sure they got pictures of Kiikuri to include with the articles. Yes, we'd say that Kikuri regrets what she did and won't do it again, but that's not going to stop people from hating her. We'd make sure the paper(s) got delivered everywhere, including underground, so that everyone would know what happened. We'd want to make sure there was no actual violence, but if you ask me, being hated by pretty much everybody is a pretty damn nasty situation, and certainly a sufficient punishment (and we could always be there if she needed a friend; we're not heartless).

It's... not a good idea. Like Smok said, the chances of Parsee knowing (and caring) about Aya and Hatate are, at best, infinitesimal. Plus, if the story's published, it's going to do a lot more to insure a lot of people will want a crack at Kikuri than we've already done (we've already told quite a few of the movers and shakers about Kikuri, already). Publishing the paper will only rile people up, not calm the situation down.
So, no go on your idea. The one plus is that you're actually telling us what you have in mind, instead of saying "Oh, I have a plan!".

Yamame and Kisume's injuries were planned, Alice's situation was somewhat planned, Lumia's situation was planned, Suika's disappearance, Suwako's condition, Orin offering Nazrin as a prize, Cirno's transformation into a youkai, and the entire Bamboo Forest sub-incident was planned. Looking for Koishi was made up entirely on the spot, as were Nitori's, Hina's, Momiji's, and Elly's roles. Kanako's role in the story wasn't thought out as much, and neither were Ran and Chen's. Emi/YuugenMagan was kind of made up as I went along. I saw Parsee/Yuugi coming from a mile away. Marisa's situation wasn't planned as well as Reimu's, and Alice was originally to have the Goliath Doll's body. Obviously, that wouldn't have ended well, given what Ran did to the Goliath Doll in this story...

To be fair, I kinda wanted to wake Kikuri up, but after Byakuren, Kaguya, and Iku were called, I didn't really see any point in it. I also wasn't expecting the adventure to end when we went back underground: I REALLY wanted to call Konngara out and rant at her for a bit :ohdear:
