BAiJR - Where's the music?
« on: September 07, 2013, 06:25:19 PM »
I know this isn't exactly a game-related question, but I didn't know where else to put it.
So I get Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red in the mail, I stick the CD in my computer (a Toshiba Satellite running Windows 8 if that helps), go to listen to the music...
I don't see any music. All I get are the wallpapers and the trial version of PoFV.
Is this normal; do I have to stick it in a CD player?
Am I just bad at using Windows 8?
Or does the CD itself have a problem?
UPD8: The CD does work in a car CD player.

I don't own that CD so I wouldn't be able to say exactly what's going on, but I have a hunch that it's a split CD, meaning that on one portion there's that stuff you see, and in the other is the music. Early Tomb Raider games did this as well. You *might* be able to just open the CD with a media player and it should start playing them. Dunno of a way to get the files from the CD though if that's what you want to do.
I figured out how to play midi in games with a different device on Win7 ^^

^ I didn't forget about this. I don't know what you're talking about. >_>
