>Ah, right, what would have happened with some of the "nonstandard" game overs? Like getting captured by Yorihime, letting Patchouli get captured, etc.?
>Getting captured by Yorihime would have necessitated your escape. Likely, then you would have been too late to stop her from striking SDM. If Patchouli got captured outside the plan that actually went down, they would have returned to either to base or to Eientei. In either event, they would have had more time to buckle down, and you would have had a harder time getting through due to them having the Tucker's Kobolds thing going on. One nonstandard path I had considered was actually joining with Yorihime. This would have put you at odds with Eientei and the like. However, I found this to be unlikely, and didn't plan it very thoroughly.
> What would have happened with Eirin if we had pursued Hina for ourselves?
> Could we have gotten together with Hina?
>Eirin would have presumed you weren't interested, and she would have become subtly more distant.
>In theory. Hina had no interest in Reisen, not really knowing her at all, so you would have to start at square one and likely would have not made nearly so much progress as you did with Eirin, with whom you knew very well and with whom there was a very mutual attraction. But who knows? This is one of those areas where I can be surprised.
> Or Alice, for that matter?
>About the same. Alice did know Reisen, but didn't especially like her. Though she thawed a little bit as the story progressed. She probably would have been more suspicious about it than Hina.
Oh yeah, it was Alice wasn't it?
>Yeah, but this didn't really stop you from going after Hina, either.
