That was the best part of the whole episode.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.

The newest episode of Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (a.k.a. Sore Machi a.k.a. That SHAFT Maid Caf? Anime) was simultaneously hilarious and touching. Especially Hotori's little brother being chosen by the pushy girl to go on a "date". Brought me so many funny (in retrospect) memories of going on a play date with this girl I knew in grade school.

The writing for this show keeps getting tighter and more focused. It's quite possibly my favorite this season.

If you aren't watching Kurage-hime, just give it a damn chance. I love it.

Kuragehime? I watched the first ep and loved it. Then FUNimation licensed it. Now I think I'll just marathon it after it's finished airing

MM!'s Incest episode was shockingly disappointing. They just dodged it the whole dang time and went for developing Tarou's and Arashiko's relationship instead. I'mOKWithThisIGuess.jpg

Arakawa needs to go back to that Ko x Nino stuff they had going on. Not that I don't like the stuff they had the last episode; just want some more of the main couple.

SoreMachi made me realize that my childhood sucked. No girls ever talked to me nor did I have any bros to hide from. :fail:

Hidamari Sketch is over now. At least Natsume got

I haven't watched it, but I am confident my body is ready!

blog back later.

also, Star Driver episode 6, FINALLY something that resembles a plot and not random monsters of the week.
Ivrogne is sure playing her role, it appears her faction is the most active, and now they managed to awaken Sugata's Apprivoise, it is gonna get nasty.
that epic scene at the back is superior.

Ika Musume is incredibly silly. :V
Also the 3rd part of episode 5...basically had no reason to be there. :S

Edit: Why in the world is a story from chapter 50+ of the manga shown in the first few episodes of the anime?

Speaking of Sore Machi, I got schooled by a Facebook friend of mine. The opening song - Down Town - is sung by Maaya Sakamoto, but she wasn't the first. The original version was by a band called Sugar Babe. Here's a live recording of the original, from 1976.

The introduction of "Nomen Rider" made me laugh heartily.

The new Bakuman was also enjoyable. I was a bit worried that these two guys were just going to breeze right into the industry, so I was glad when their interview with the editor wasn't what they expected.

Kurage-hime continues to be great.

I don't even know why I'm following Arakawa at this point. It's like the Family Guy of anime - shake up the bag full of gags, reach in, pull some out, line them up in any order. Where Sore Machi doesn't seem to have a continuous plot, it at least has one story per episode, as opposed to 24 minutes of lolrandom stuff to look at.
