These are perfect for bribing faeries with, I think.

>Inquire about the tea set.

> The shrine isn't too badly damaged, but you'd need a lot more than what you have on your person.  You have some more money stashed away in the shrine for emergencies, and if need be you can hunt down people to lend a hand.  Suika owes you chores just by living with you, so she'd be easy to recruit.  The menreiki youkai, Kokoro, could also owe you a favor for starting an incident that one time.  Aside from that...you're honestly stumped.  You solve a lot of incidents, but you hardly ever do personal favors for people.

I'm thinking we want the tea set for ourselves, beads to bribe faeries, and the marbles to look around places.

Yeah, but we should save a self-reward for us after we accomplish something. I was thinking the tea set, or maybe the hooded dress and basket. We also should place an order for a school swimsuit.

Oh, the tea set isn't a reward. It's a tool. We may need to recover faster than usual, or help someone else do so.

Also I got no problems with swamsuits

I trust Roukan to design a swamsuit proper.

Apparently I'm in charge of design, so:

> A red one-piece, with pink frills running along the waist. And a yin-yang orb emblem on the chest, just so people REALLY know who they're screwing with.

> "Can I get the inner tube too? It's not for me. Probably."

> "Can I get the inner tube too? It's not for me. Probably."

> Serious question time - could this incident have caused any casualties? If so, where's the area in the most danger right now? The Underground?

> You describe the design to Tokiko, who writes it hastily on a scrap of paper.  She hands it over to Rinnosuke, who drops everything he's doing and goes to the back of the shop.
> "That'll be 10μ for the inner tube.  We'll charge you for the swimsuit when it's done," Tokiko says.  She reaches behind the counter and retrieves a large, transparent blue inner tube with brightly-colored fish patterned onto it.
> As bad as it sounds, there probably are casualties.  Gensokyo wasn't ever exactly a water world, and as a result many of its residents are unable to swim.  You imagine the Underground will be having a hard time dealing with this, as water filling up in there would be like filling a bottle and putting a cork on it.

My suggestion is that we go to human town first out of dutifulness, since it's in a low area and since Lil ReiRei tends to take the protecting humans bit rather seriously. Especially since Suika is already going underground, so she can alleviate issues there.

> Obtained: Inflatable Inner Tube x1
> "Ah..."  Tokiko starts to say something to you, but you're already out the door and on your way to the Human Village.
> As you proceed towards the village, the water gets deeper and deeper, until your skirts are billowing up around you.  You manage to find a hill to climb up to avoid the worst of the water, and look out over the valley where the Human Village is.
> It's worse than it looked from the shrine.  The entire village, built on flat ground, is completely underwater.  The very familiar shadow of a large ship reflects down on the sunken village.  You identify it as the Palaquin, which seems to have been reverted to its original ship form.  Farther off, you see rafts of bamboo floating in the water.  A single silver-haired figure can be seen swimming over the buildings.  There are a great deal of fish here, many of which you've never seen before.  A small swarm of big ones with fins on their backs cut through the water, making a beeline for a destination unbeknownst to you.
