If I understand the stories and memories, only Yuuka and Shikieiki proved to be a match for Yukari....

You're not actually sure if its that terrible, It was essentially a sitting duck with Yuyuko binding it. The only reason as far as you can tell no one just killed the bitch now was because Yuyuko would disappear. Whoever did this, Yukari or no, is certainly strong enough to withstand the spell that killed Youmu, however.

Unless, of course, they weren't alive in the first place.

"The ghosts are still here, they're actually being rather helpful lately. One of the more energetic ones informed me of your arrival, actually. Given her state, I may be inclined to have her replace me once we can actually grow a garden here. She seems fond of flowers.

Youmu shakes her head. "Anything that was left was cleared away by the morning, I suspect they probably took to some pains to make sure of that, though. As for anyone live, not at all. You're the first living being to set foot in here in a while."

You figured it'd be hard to keep track of time in a cave, but this is a complete shock. You're not exactly sure if it is before or not, but it is possible.

You take a sigh of relief, You could still possibly make use of Yuuka.

"Not really, the tree will clear itself out eventually. If there was a serious problem, I'd imagine the Yama would eventually get on with it."

Youmu sips her tea. "If it was as simple as burning, Miss Yuyuko would've never needed to die. One of the tree's greatest defenses was being invulnerable to fire. In the time of it's rule, cutting it down would take several men of great strength, and it would kill them in short order. They had nothing other than fire that could possibly kill it in a short enough time."

Youmu nods. "Not exactly from here, but I remember there being a way to the River somewhere around the flowerbeds. I'd watch out, though, the Yama and Shinigami tend to be a bit touchy about people just wandering down there."

You then head towards the flowerbeds. You can go through the SUZURAN or SUNFLOWERS. You're not sure which is more lethal.

You have to admit, even without Medicine, those are still some lethal flowers. You deduce the only correct path should be by Sunflower.

You begin heading through the field, which still seems well kept. You'd count that in favor of Yuka being alive, but they ARE wild flowers. It seems that they're starting to feel the wear of Autumn, though.

You don't see any sign of Yuka, yet.

The entire Sunflower field turns to you. You think she heard.

You're pretty sure this is Yuka.
