>You drop your Beautiful Seashell into the water.
>The ripples distort Suwako's image, and banish it entirely.
>"Have you ever prayed to me?" comes a voice from ahead. You look up to see Suwako sitting on one of the larger lily pads, a few yards from the shore. She looks at you curiously.

>"Done," says Suwako, "She did more for me than most people could understand."
>Suwako reaches her hands into the pond, and starts to paddle the lily pad toward the pond as though it were a small boat.
>"As for the shell, well, you reaction made it obvious enough. But we can sense value beyond how much something costs."
>Suwako reaches the shore, and steps onto it. Then she produces a small lily pad from her sleeve and hands it to you. "This leaf should serve her needs," says Suwako. "Just give it to her."
>You note that the Beautiful Seashell rests on top of the pad.

>You obtain Beautiful Seashell
>You Obtain: Lily Pad Leaf.
>"Good, I appreciate that," says Suwako. With that, she steps back into the pond and falls into the water. The water does not splash as she vanishes into it, it merely ripples as though a stone were thrown into it.

> "Thank you Sanae."
> Go into the shrine and greet Kanako.

>You enter the shrine. The entire building is made of treated but otherwise bare wood. Without paneling or any kind of paint, the shrine has a curious feeling of being just a framework of an actual building. Despite that, it is clearly insulated well, as you do not feel any sort of chill in here. You come to a large open area, where Kanako sits upon a podium with her eyes closed, making small gestures with her fingers. You are not certain if she is aware of you. Obvious exits are North, South, and West.

>"Has she, now?" asks Kanako, not opening her eyes or ceasing her motions. "Why is this?"
>You're used to long hair; your own goes quite a ways past your tail, and while Kaguya and Eirin are impressively tressed as well. But you really cannot match that kind of width. Its hard not to marvel at it.
