>... wait, what? Who assumed she knew about the fairy thing?! Damnit!  Too late now...
>Yuyuko explained that she heard Maribel's conversation with Alice. No loss of eyesight.
>Also parser fail on my part.

>You feed this to the parser.
>Fatmus: What is Gensokyo known for? What is known of its inhabitants?
>Gensokyo is known for being the setting of the Touhou series, and you probably don't need me to explain what that is to you. Quite a lot is known of the inhabitants, but only the ones that have appeared in a Touhou game.
>Who is ZUN?
>The creator of the aforementioned Touhou series. Nobody knows if it's a giant coincidence or if ZUN had actually visited Gensokyo. Probably the latter.
>Tech level, please.
>The land of Ijiyatsu's tech level is pretty high compared to the rest of the world. An industrial reveolution's still going on right now.
>As for magic, it and other supernatural forces are very, very common.
>Grope Kilga for good luck

>Eye Renko for a moment. "A rather curious thing to do, I must say..."
>"Yeah. At first I organized it to go with Alice's plan, but you already know that. I'm still invading the mansion to prove that I can."
>What do we generally think about fairies, and the residents of the SDM as a whole?
>You consider fairies and strange beings you don't usually take seriously. As for the SDM residents, you're pretty neutral towards them.
>"And it would be good to see them directly, wouldn't it? Yukari dear, are you feeling up to that?"
>"To be honest, no."

>Armpits: Cross our arms and wait for her.
>You wait for Minoriko's arrival. After a few seconds, you see her appear from the left of the room you're in.
>"Hello, Reimu. Can I help you?"

>Mini-Suika: Enter the shrine.
>Microcosm of the Alcoholism: Head into the shrine.
>You enter the shrine. The entrance room is big and empty. Since you're a mini-Suika, especially big.
>"Hey! Kanako!"
>You call out for Kanako. No answer.
>Become Smurf.
>You choke yourself, achieving a smurf-like color in the process. You release your neck before you kill yourself.

>Yukays: Frown in concern at Yukari's response. "I think once I get the chance among all these problems I'm going to have to give you a hug, Yukari."
>Yukari chuckles. "I may need one after all."
>Shrug apologetically at Maribel and Renko. "I'm afraid she isn't feeling well. Whatever force is playing with the Yama claims to be draining her power as well."
>"But I've held you two up enough already, haven't I? Would it be fine to talk along the way at least, Yukari?"
>"That was what was intended."

>Shiki: "Yukari, let me know if you're approaching the point where you can't gap us out at all. I would rather not be stuck in here."
>"That point is still far off, but very well."
>Keep listening.

>Rodenjius: "... there's a good amount of gods, magic, and youkai. As for incidents, uh... Kilga, you think this counts yet?" Point at the gap for emphasis.
>She replies "No, not really. But how about the rampaging earth elementals?"
>Specific examples of industrialization? List a few for the gap.
>Now I get to put my knowledge of the Industrial Revolution to use
>Factories and machines are being used to manufacture things. You mention these to the gap.
>As Eiki, you hear Yukari say "Hmm...this is like an event in the Outside World that happened a century or so ago."
>Rodenjius: When you're trying to fool a full group, you have to shoot for the most skeptical...
>Either that or this parser lets in wild commands.

>You generate a Yuyuko/Youmu Ghostbuster poster.
>Where is the information about Gensokyo circulated from? Games? Novels? Communication methods? Art?
>Every one of those except communication methods. Nobody has managed to communicate with Gensokyo...until now.
>Are you kidding she loves it
>You're deluding yourself.

>Pleurodira Plurality: Grin nastily. Nod. "Yes. And fortunately I've heard from a believable source that you actually decided to put a stop to it."
>Minoriko looks at you nervously.
>Neutral expression again. Uncross arms. "But I still want to hear a few details. Why don't you give me an overview of your version first..."
>"Okay. Kanako, Suwako, and Koishi planned to use a jewel they found in Eientei to change Gensokyo into Gensokyo Isle. I wasn't quite an important member of this plan, but I supported it since there would be food to feed many people. However, people started forgetting where their food came from, so I sent Utsuho her youkai half so that she could reverse the changes."

>World's Smallest Drunk: "Sanae? Anybody?"
>Nobody answers.
>Let's go exploring! Pick another room in the shrine and check it out for kicks.
>Obvious exits are south, west, and east, where south is the way you came. There don't seem to be any room connected to the area you're in right now.

>Yuyukan Alps: Smile and nod. "Then shall we go, Maribel?"
>"Let's go, then."

>Follow her lead, if she moves out.
>...And you follow Maribel.

>Meta-Nazrin: "Yeah, I guess..."
>Though telling them about that incident removes another way to test what's going on...
>Where do the games/writing/art about Gensokyo originate from? How do they spread?
>The games about Gensokyo are made by ZUN (but nobody knows much about ZUN, especially his whereabouts) and appear in stores.
>Pause to consider. What would Maribel do in this situation? Well... probably try to focus on Renko, I suppose.
>">"Uh... I guess that's okay. Renko, do you want to lead the way?"" Pause. ">Take her hand if she offers it."
>You put in a command to Purvis. Kilgamayan adds "Check ingredient list for power-unlocking potion Byakuren was willing to make for us. Recall where we got each of the

ingredients, and how easy they would be to procure a second time. We do remember a second geode in the Underground - it was in the Pawn Shop, right? 'So...it was

really messed up, but I still have some hopes for that house. I'd really like a place we can call our own, and I don't think we're likely to find a place nearly as far

along as that one. If we capture that one remaining wisp and...clean up the mess...what do you think?'"
>The parser replies "Renko has already started moving. You take that as a yes and follow her. Yuyuko starts following you, as well. You know you got the extra Star Mushrooms. Ground Ragewort should be easy. That pawnshop had another geode. You're not sure if you could wheedle more  Bloodmoss out of Nue, though. 'It's be really weird to sleep in a house someone got killed in,' Renko says, 'But I guess it could work. Maybe it we got it exorcised or something. Actually, it's kind of exciting, thinking about it. Well...about what it'll be like.' While you're speaking to Renko, Yuyuko says 'Hey, game-playing people! Could you say more about the earth spirits?'"
>Dunno how open she wants to be about 'our' relationship with the creepy ghost lady using us to talk to... fuck it the pronouns are too convoluted.
>Who has Purvis said that Yuyuko's been talking to, aside from Mary and Renko? Did 'we' overhear any of her talk with Shiki and Yukari, or see how she's speaking with

them?
>How long would a trip to the Library take, and how much of a Quest would we miss for a round trip?
>A round trip would take two hours on foot. (I'm not implying you have other methods of transportation.) You would miss a decent-sized chunk, but you wouldn't miss too

much since one quest takes several weeks. Even then, Pesco logs what people say in these quests for future viewing.

>Genji Grappler: Blink. "... they found it at Eientei?" Damnit, why didn't we think to ask where it was from all this time?!
>Wait a minute, didn't Keine mention that it was found at Eientei? Your memory isn't that great, apparently.
>"When was that, and where was it in Eientei?"
>"A week before Gensokyo was changed. I don't know where it was in Eientei."
>Damnit, are we gonna have to make Lunarian heads roll, too?
>Now you have to go around to more people and ask them about this. This is so tiring...
>"How much did Koishi do to set this stupid thing up?"
>"She modified the minds of the people in Gensokyo and helped Kanako with using the jewel."

>Shiki: "Yuyuko, I do believe they're attempting to get a reaction from you. One of them is showing me an image that indicates a desire to get rid of you. They don't

actually want to, I don't think; I suspect they are simply conducting tests. This is, after all, a very strange experience for them."
>Wow, you interpreted that posterboard correctly.
>Yuyuko: "Huh. That's still not very nice."
>Shiki: "Apparently, they don't yet feel that the overlay qualifies as an incident, but there was mention of rampaging earth spirits. Could you ask for elaboration?"
>Yuyuko: "Sure!"

>As Eiki, you hear this. Why would Tenshi be responsible for an incident in a location that doesn't seem to be a part of Gensokyo nor Heaven? Also, you don't think that she can do anything earth-related other than cause earthquakes and maybe some limited earth manipulation powers?certainly not anything like this.

I guess that leads to a request for those in the other world, and a question more for you personally, Maribel."
>"I think it would still be best to have someone from there look into finding a way to speak with us directly, or even reach Gensokyo; this is really rather troublesome for all involved, isn't it? I'm not sure what can be done from there, but... hm, I believe Yukari did just remind me of an 'overlay' that may be involved with it. There's very little about it at Patchouli's library, but perhaps you can find more?"
>"And for you, Maribel... if I do leave to help Yukari, where would I be able to find you later today, or perhaps tomorrow? >">"What sort of compulsions has Sakuya been having thanks to that gap that's supposed to be in her head, anyway?""
>">"What is that overlay you mentioned?"" Pause. To the people actually there, "Does anyone know what she's talking about?"
>Where would we be able to look for more info about that? The library, presumably?
>As for how to meet her again... ">"I... am not entirely sure where I'll be tonight and tomorrow. We're still looking for a decent place to stay even, really..." Pause. ">"I may spend the night at Byakuren's if I go through with the stronger enchantment she was offering, but... otherwise I'm not sure where I'll be going, exactly." Pause. ">"Well, aside from seeing Renko, of course...""
