Title: PoFV ambiguously shutting down during gameplay

Okay, I've been playing PoFV fine for a few months but recently the game consistently shuts off after two minutes of gameplay. I don't get any error messages either, it's like the game is closing normally but in the middle of gameplay? Reinstalling the game didn't fix the problem and all of the other Touhou games work perfectly.

Now I'm at a loss and it's really bugging me as this is my favorite Touhou game. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this could be fixed?
