> You just barely manage to stop yourself before cutting your hand by accident.  The tomatoes and peaches are very finely sliced now, though.  Kanako-sama is pouring juice into glasses.

> "Some of them were traded from Bhava-Agra, and the rest were somehow grown by Aki Minoriko, even though it's winter.  She said she put a lot of effort towards making just a few."

> Carry the plate out to where Kogasa and Madotsuki is waiting.

> As you wash the knife and cutting board, you ask where Minoriko lives.
> "That's right.  She and her sister have a shrine at the base of the mountain, in the wheat fields.
> You carry the plate of food out into the living room, while Kanako-sama gets the drinks.  Kogasa looks over but doesn't lift her head from the coffee table, while Madotsuki seems rather excited at the sight of food.

> She really is tired, so you help her to the guest room.  Her head lolls as you prepare the futon, and as soon as her head hits the pillow, she closes her eyes..

> "So this is the the story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside-down..."
> "Let's see... well, two days ago, there were a bunch of ghosts floating around the city, like, a lot, just covering the city, and I went to investigate. We found Youmu, who's a ghost herder, unconcious after some oni named Yuugi beat her up, and had to take her to the hospital so that they could get her ghost to give back her heartbeat. We then went by Satori's place, and that's when we found out that one of the tengu was flying around the oni city from Utsuho. Anyways, but I helped make lunch there, and it was really really good! Koishi didn't eat any of it, which was pretty rude, but fortunately Kogasa stopped by and we had enough for everybody."

We managed to get them all back, no harm was done. Though some of the evil spirits were real jerks to the ghosts! But I guess the name's a giveaway, there."

> "Yep. Rescued Sakuya from having to clean up a really messed up poltergeist mansion and found out what happened to that girl in the moon along the way, too." Pat Madotsuki's hand. "Really, though, it wasn't much of an incident, and Reimu was really making a big deal about it when she found out."
> Pause. "But, um, I guess that kind of led into a different kind of incident."

>"Not really an incident, but a kinda incident. Um, Madotsuki made a kind of dream world while she was alive, and it's filled with people. But since she's passed on, well...it's kinda been falling apart. So I've been trying to help them out, because I keep ending up there while I'm asleep. And, in the end, I kinda ended up making a new place for them."

> "Yep. Rescued Sakuya from having to clean up a really messed up poltergeist mansion and found out what happened to that girl in the moon along the way, too." Pat Madotsuki's hand. "Really, though, it wasn't much of an incident, and Reimu was really making a big deal about it when she found out."
> Pause. "But, um, I guess that kind of led into a different kind of incident."

> As you continue to talk, you pat Madotsuki's hand.  She doesn't look back, but hopefully you've put her more at ease.
> The incident you just solved lead you into another one, though...
> "That's probably part of her job, to make a big deal over any incident."

I started with our shrine, then started to put in things from Gensokyo, but then I threw in things from the Outside World like skyscrapers or the harbor or that amusement park, remember that? I haven't really gotten the chance to see how it turned out, but it'll be really awesome what with the secret base and everything!"
