> The rest of you follow Rika and Marisa out of the room and down the hall.  It only takes a little while before Rika reaches another door and pushes it open to reveal a small table surrounded by chairs, with lit lanterns in each corner.  Marisa and Shikoba instantly head for the chairs and take a seat.

> "Ah, wait, don't start without me!"  Rika grabs a chair and takes a seat, and then grabs at a slice of toast.

> Shikoba's wings flutter, shedding feathers onto the floor.
> No sooner than you finish eating do you go for seconds, splitting it between you and Mii.  Everyone else seems to like the food--barring Shikoba; you can't tell what she's thinking at all--and soon enough, everything has been eaten.  Rika sighs contentedly and leans back on her chair.
> "That was good."

> "Yeah! Who made the apples? Oh, that was Shikoba! Thank you! And the toast was good too, Rika!"
> Pat our tummy.
> "Hm... hey, do you have a recipe or something for those apples? I wanna try making them later!"

> That was a good meal...now you just need the recipe.  You'll have to try making these apples yourself sometime.
> Rika nods.  "Shikoba would have to write it down, though."

> "Okay!" Pull out our sketchbook and a crayon and flip it to an empty page. "Here!" Shove it in Shikoba's hands.
> Look over at Kouyoshi. "Hey, Kouyoshi, Kouyoshi, do you wanna make these apples too?"

> You hand over your sketchbook and a crayon to Shikoba.  She stares at it for a few moments, before starting to write.
> Kouyoshi nods, still picking off the last of her food.  "Yeah.  They're good."

> "Yeah, they are! Hm... Rumia would really like it, too, huh?" Stroke Mii's head.
> Turn to Marisa. "So how long have you lived here? Are the four of you the only ones here?"

> Rumia might like the apples.
> You pet Mii.  She makes a trilling sound and closes her eyes.
> "Uh...for a while?" Marisa guesses.  "I dunno."
> She seems a little angry when you ask if it's just the four of them here.
> "How could you forget Mima-sama?!  That makes five!"

> Beat.
> "Who's Mima?"

> Rika, Shikoba, and Marisa all stare at you.
> Marisa then stands up on the her chair and props a shoe on the table.
> "She's the greatest magician ever!" Marisa shouts.  "How could you not know?  She's famous around these parts!"
> "Don't stand on the table, that's dirty!" Rika snaps.  Marisa ignores her.
> "Mima-sama's really, really cool!  You couldn't even comprehend how cool she is unless you see her in person!"

> "If she's so cool... then how come we've never heard of her? You've never met this Mima customer, right, Kouyoshi?"

> Kouyoshi shakes her head.  "Never heard of her."
> "Then you must not be from around here," Marisa concludes.

> She then plops back into her chair.  "It can't be helped, then."

> "Those are the youkai that live in the forest 'round here," Rika explains.

> "Mima-sama likes apples," Marisa pouts.
> "She's probably still out," Rika says.  "Maybe she has some really important business to attend to.  Like...um..."

> Shikoba hands back the sketchbook and crayon.
