This will be a custom version of Everybody is Mafia Mafia that I made up. Everybody is free to sign up.
Rules:
1) Free for all
2) Any sort of discussion is allowed, and even recommended
3) During each turn, you may perform one of the following actions: Fire at X, Trade up a Gun, or Reflect Bullets
4) For Firing, you initially have a 1/6 chance of actually shooting. This is Russian Roulette after all. For each time you don't successfully fire, your chances of successfully firing the next time increases to 1/5, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, and 1/1
5) For Trading, you may trade in a gun with 1 bullet loaded to a gun with 2 bullets, increasing your odds of firing to 2/6, or trade up to 3 bullets, and so on
6) If you successfully Fire, you will automatically be given a gun with 1 bullet loaded, regardless of how many you have in the gun you just used
7) You may Reflect bullets instead, causing anyone who successfully fires at you this turn to kill themselves instead. If you use this, then you cannot use it for the next 2 turns
8) Everybody's rolls will be posted on updates, but not who they targeted. Lower numbers mean success
9) You all have one life

I don't see why we need to water down Everybody is Mafia Mafia by adding in luck elements. Way to lower the skill ceiling and casualize it for new players. This is Melee -> Brawl all over again.

Is upgrading just changing an existing blank to a real bullet or is it meant to mime actually handing one gun in and receiving another? For example, if you upgrade a 1/5 gun, does it go to 2/5 or 1/3?

Actually I'll just claim this now.
I got a special role pm before the game started. Once in the game, I can prevent one player from using any of their abilities for one phase. I'm using it on Shadoweh tonight. That means no reflection, no nothing. You know what that means. The more people we have, the better chance of success.

i mean the really interesting part is the psychological aspect. we know that I reflected on night one and have been hipfiring the rest of the game. meanwhile huhwhat has a non-firing action on n2. which means that if he didn't reflect that night then he should be more likely to fire off a successful shot than i am, shot for shot.
anyway ive been publically declaring my shots on him (although it's true that you dont know if im actually aiming for him). now if he really wants he can get into a 1v1 with me and have probability dictate that the odds are in his favour if not at least equal. good deal right? problem is that with such a low sample size probabilities that are not 1 or 0 are unreliable, and either one of us could get off a lucky shot at any time. so what does he do? does he use reflect when the chambers start ticking down? do we continue to shoot at each other until the world ends, not giving a fuck (likely)? does he just ignore me (the other likely possibility)? what does he think if i dont declare an action on him inthread? what happens if I say ##shoot huhwhat but aim for a bigger threat instead? does any of it matter in the end??????
i just want to see the detailed night actions in endgame.

Confession time, comrades!
For all the silly early-game nonsense about roleclaims and whatnot, I actually did get a special role for this game. All Soviets are loyal brothers in communism and shouldn't be fighting each other, but even if I couldn't clear everyone else's mind, I wasn't going to add to the calamity.
I was a Pacifist, and my job was threefold:
- Make sure there was a Night 4.
- Be alive on that Night 4.
- Die or win without firing a single shot once the first two goals were accomplished.
Even with intermittent reflection, I was on a tiny bit of a time crunch since you can only stuff so many bullets into a gun, but thankfully someone was kind enough to bid до свидания to the guy that hadn't done anything meaningful yet and also owned the weapon most likely to backfire (4~5 chances out of 6 look like good odds for a kill until everyone notices that you haven't been doing anything visible all game and starts putting up shields), so it all worked out in the end.

Flavour is that I was unsatisfied with my life in heaven, so I burned in envy while watching the commoners have a good time. Naturally, I had to bring them down to my level by killing them all. Then they would understand my ennui.
Basically a scorched earth wincon. Survival was optional. I thought it was impossible, so I tried to get myself killed early as a fuck you to the mod.
But, you know? Maybe it was meant to be this way. With each passing night of survival, I began to realize that maybe my victory actually was inevitable after all. My wyrd, fulfilled. Destiny cannot be avoided. It only comes in different forms. At long last, my wish shall come true.
