Title: SPACE VAMPIRES - Valvrave Thread
Post by: ♛ Apher-Forte on June 23, 2013, 05:24:04 PM
Can't believe I waited this long to start the thread.

Ok, what are your thoughts on SPACE TWILIGHT THE ROBOT SAGA?

in before a lot of things that may or may not induce rage.

---------
questions:
1. Shoko has got to be a special kind of retarded. All things considered, she raised enough suffering and deathflags like no one else ever did. Right?
2. Why the hell is the Harakiri blade fueled by blatant
heterosexual sex?
3. For a title with -The Liberator , there is as much liberating done in episode 1 than the rest of the so far episodes??

So far I really like this series.
Obviously I am in the Saki camp, Haruto x Saki plz.  :ohdear: jeez I am boring.
Maybe should ship Thunder with Senpai.

This series ran on little more than narm charm for me, and that got old after a bit. Dropped as of episode 10 for obvious reasons. Completely and utterly tasteless.

Been kind of following some of the threads on /a/ about it, I'm not sure if I should pick it up.
From what I've seen, the plot is everywhere and there are asspulls and twists every episode.
Saki > Shoko purely by design though.

It is basically the M Night Shyamalan of anime and what happens if he was behind Code Geass R2.
It is a trainwreck that has all the worse bits but somehow managed to pull it off with quantifiable bishies, RAP---- er... tender loving and tweests.

I thought I knew what was happening until the end of episode one through me for a loop.

Even if the series has been... odd since then I'm still watching it, though I'm not entirely sure why.

Also some of the statements I heard being yelled from the crowd during the episode where they declared their independence were hilariously bad.

I was on board with the sheer ludicrousness of the series from the end of the first episode, and I honestly liked characters such as L-Elf and Thunder.

However, I'm going to be one of the crowd who was disgusted with the end of Ep10. I'm cautiously waiting until the end of the half-season before I decide to drop it, but if Sunrise doesn't address what happened or handles in it a way that makes things worse somehow, I'm not coming back to the show after the hiatus. Then again, this is the Sunrise that gave us Gundam SEED Destiny, so my hopes are very slim.

This show gets more and more stupid each episode.
Oh well, it's too late to drop now.
At least shoko is cute.

Man, I can't tell you how strange Shoko is... she is like that character Robert Downey Jr. played in Tropic Thunder... I am not even sure if she is batshit or just retarded.

JINGERU BERRUS JINGERU BERRUS JINGERU BERRUS JINGERU BERRUS
dear lord that episode was awful, though episode 10 ending was nothing short of WTF but that JINGERU BERRUS episode I say took the cake in stupid.
