Most musicians around here are probably aware of this site, but even if you don't play anything, it's worth checking out.

How many of you musicians on MotK use Soundcloud? If you don't, would you consider doing so?

I'm curious to get your opinions on it. Have just started using it, myself.

I prefer Tindeck. Soundcloud's integrated player seems to hate me a lot under both Firefox and Opera (addon isssues maybe?).

Newgrounds' music portal is also good, and the player module is quite funny, but there are more restrictions on filetypes, sizes, and a few other things.

Funny, I don't have any issues with Soundcloud at all. Using Chrome here, which may make a difference.

Hi.

I just don't upload anything.
Like it because it has all those feeds and stuff, more of a music network then a simple place to dump tracks.

Yeah, that's one thing noteworthy about Soundcloud, and it's great for feedback as well.

Doesn't fit my lone wolf style of operation though....

Seems interesting, might try it when I get rid of this stiffnes in my fingers and record something.

I dig soundcloud as a social music experience, but don't particularly upload my own stuff there.
