They've gone a little too far, even for tool-assist.

I've seen extra stages easier than that!
Little did he know, the shed was near Yuyuko, who was in a role-play of Dune. As a sandworm.

Going too far means that for some players out there, there's an orgasmic need to be BEATEN by a game they want it to be infinitely more harder.

In other words, the syndrome of "I'm a Tenshist Sadomasochist with Video Games."

I have to painfully agree...either that, or I am incredibly patient.

I lol'd at the swarm of fairies that were still there when Nazrin showed up.

You're not patient, or you're admitting that Spelunky is an awesome and addicting game that doesn't let you down no matter how many ridiculous deaths you have.

"Is there a way to be even more hard?"

"Is there a way to be even harder?"

Choose one, not both.

"Human history and growth are both linked closely to strife. Without conflict, humanity would have no impetus for growth. When humans are satisfied with their present condition, they may as well give up on life."

thread could be alternatively named "what the TH games could be like, if ZUN enjoyed higher difficulties and had the means to test these properly"; note that this doesn't necessarily turn TH games into Cave ones; the style (patterns, stages, bosses, cutscenes) would still be different (and having different styles/games means we have more gaming options to have fun with)

Though crossovers (not limited to Cave) would indeed be very welcome :D  (kind of, you're a drawer, and wants to see how other drawers would draw your characters :p)
neku: now for something important.
Translations.
How much time do you guys think it will take for HM to be translated? Besides everyone's story modes and the whole menus, there's also the fact that the way HM's programmed is different from all other games. I bet it'll take two months.

lusvik: I don't mind about playing HM in japanese. The language of punching other people is international.

When you think about it realistically, that should be the normal speed in real battle.

I've seen this before haha. It's pretty intense actually.

Man, it must feel great to bomb with so many bullets on screen. You'll be like "HELL YEAH BITCHES CAN'T TOUCH THIS"

Considering the guy didn't get past stage 2 even with the help of TAS and frequent bombspamming, he was probably thinking more along the lines of "Hahahaha oh what.  Fuck this."
