Title: Can't install Mountain of Faith

First of all:

Hi there, I'm new to this forum but I read it now for some time and it seems it is a very good comunity here.

Now to my problem.
Like the thread title says, I have problems installing Mountain of Faith. It's actually not a technical problem but a problem of language.
I just don't know what the game wants from me.

Can anyone tell me what I have to do?

Control panel > Regional settings > set Unicode to Japanese then run the install.

Or use Applocale (somebody else can explain that).

But isn't that only to make my PC show Kana?
Because that it allready does.

Can someone who has allready installed it tell me if it really wants the serial?

None of the official Touhou games have ever needed a serial.

That does NOT look like a real MoF install as I know it.

Don't know where you got it from and don't care to find out.

Mine looked different. The window title should be in kanji, not English.

That's a virus included with fake versions of many popular PC games.  It probably came with a text file telling you where you can sign up to "get" the serial.

Locking this thread.  We don't support pirated games... and we definitely don't support pirated, uh, fake not-games.
