>...Did Aya just help you? o  .  o?

>It seems like she has. Although she is not really able to lift it on her own, but she has give Remilia a shady spot to retreat back in to.

>Well, she doesn't want Remilia to DIE. She's not evil, although she certainly isn't nice. Taking photos won't kill someone, no matter how mean.
>Whichever will help Remilia more, either help Aya with the screen or shield Remilia from the sun with your robe/self

>You quickly assess the situation, and determine it would be more useful to restore the screen.
>You fly to the top of it and add your strength to restoring it back in place. With Aya pushing against the lower part, you are able to raise it it back into position without too much trouble. Now it is merely a trick of balancing it and praying the supports don't break before the sun sets.

> Thank Aya

> Open a hole in the roof for Remi to Jump in when she gets a chance.

>You give Aya your thanks. "I owed you at least one, didn't I?" she says.
>Your hands are too full to use spellcards at the moment.

>And then tell youmu she's a jerk, and needs to go home.
>Please shiki and ruin her swords with metal fatigue (info: http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Hakurouken_and_Roukanken )

>"Just a moment!" says Youmu, as she defends against a renewed and furious assault from Remilia.
>Your hands are too full to use spellcards at the moment.

> Hurry up and fly up to the roof already.

>You are as close to the roof as you can be without letting the screen drop.
>You estimate it is about a minute and a half until the sun sets, at most.

> "Oh, Youmu?"
> Grin like Yuka
> "How much do you like those swords of yours? Wouldn't it be such a pity if something happened to them? Like, say, they rusted away in seconds because you didn't stop attacking Remilia?"
> Don't ACTUALLY use Metal Fatigue unless it looks like Remilia is about to get killed.

>She doesn't answer, as Remilia ramps up her offensive further. You're pretty sure she heard you, though. And doesn't seem to be stopping. Not that she has a great deal of choice right now.

>get Remilia's parasol somewhere she can reach
>mourn the fading of Kanako's blessing?
>drop Jeff's hat for the moment for fear of being possessed

>You've been careful thus far, and things have gone well.
>It's not so much that Kanako's Blessing has passed as that particular use of Metal Sign: Silver Dragon had really taken it out of you.
>You shake the Ruined Hat out of your possession. It flutters down to the grounds below. You are unable to shake that waxy sensation, or the feeling of tension in the air.
>It is pretty clear that Remilia is no longer amused by this scenario. Nothing pisses her off like a face full of sunlight. She is raining blows down upon Youmu hard, forcing the swordswoman onto the defensive. While she may tire herself out, you reflect that Remilia really has nothing to lose; once the sun sets she can ease up and be fully within her element.

> Try to keep the screen held up until sunset.

>You can see Sakuya. She hasn't moved or visibly worsened since you last checked her, though from a distance there may be all kinds of things you cannot see.
>You find, much to your chagrin, that only one person is needed to hold up the screen when a flash and a click from belong tells you that Aya has moved away and also taken a photo of opportunity, then returns to chronicling the the battle.
>Regardless, you stay at your post, fighting the waxy sensation, which seems to be crawling over your skin now. Youmu is able to deflect some of Remilia's fury, and scores a glancing blow across the vampire's leg, but overall, it seems they are pretty evenly matched now.

>You concoct a plan against Aya.
>Now that you have gotten close to the roof again, you start to notice that the rainbows being left in the wake of the Dream Cutlass' slashes are significantly more complex and tangled than they were the when you first gave it to her.

>actually, leave Aya out of it for now, there's a reason she doesn't get caught easily and we're not in the greatest shape right now. One thing at a time.

>This may not be a bad idea. Especially since she did just help you out.

>You drop the screen, making certain that it's not going to fall on anything.
>"And let this schmuck think she's gotten the better of me?" says Remilia, as she takes to the air. "Ha!" Youmu does as well, but at that point Remilia is already diving at her, leaving a long rainbow in her wake.

>You swoop down to collect the Ruined Hat. You hear a sound above, then the world changes.
>All the color has leeched from the world, everything has become gray and all sounds have ceased. You feel very alone all of a sudden.

>Perhaps the fighting with the Dream Cutlass is weakening the border of dreams and reality; while this could be a bad thing, its also probably the best time to do something about Jeff. Is the gap Yukari opened at the gates of the SDM still open?

>That...might explain this. You look toward the gates. There is no gap there. You don't recall seeing it there earlier, though. Yukari likely closed it after you stepped through.

> We may feel alone, but are we alone?

>From your current vantage point, you can see Sakuya is still laying unconscious in the yard; she is also grey. And there are is a curious sort of filament extending from her toward the roof.

>Look around to see if anything else if different; if anything or anyone has appeared/disapeared

>You look upward, and see that the sky has become a riot of rainbow colors. It looks rather like thick sludge than a proper sky, giving you a sort of closed in feeling. You also see Aya, frozen in midair. Looking downward, you quickly note that there seems to be a couple filaments attached to you as well, one leading up toward the roof, and the other beyond the grounds of the mansion.
>In the stillness, you can detect a very faint humming noise in the air.

>You couldn't possibly imagine it but...can...anyone see you anymore?

>You don't know. They don't seem to be moving.

>Oh God we are FUUUUUUUUCKED.

>Jeff K. Anon would NOT help us get back, especially if it's at the expense of himself.

>You may well be on your own. It's hard not to feel a little terrified. You literally no idea what has happened or what this place is, outside of speculations.

>Follow your filament to the roof. I guess it probably leads to Remi, or perhaps the sword (which I feel we should take, if possible)

>You are able to move, and fly up toward to the roof.
>Remilia has been caught in mid swoop, coming down on Youmu, who has not taken the attack well. One of her swords lays on the roof, you think that she tossed it aside, as she's meeting Remilia's swoop by holding the other sword with one hand, and the pressing her palm against the back of the blade to take the blow. They are partially obscured by a rainbow-colored mass that seems to have emanated from the point of contact between the two weapons
>Your suspicion about your filament is correct, it connects to Remilia, who has quite a few of them connected to herself. Another one seems to extend down to Sakuya, and a third toward where you left Remilia. Others extend from her to the mansion.

>I blame you, Kitten. >: <

>Do check these filaments out, they're of extreme interest.

>Your filament seems to contract as you draw closer to Remilia, so there is no slack between them. It is translucent red in color, but it looks solid; you are not sure. It is about a thick as a coin. It seems to be extending from just below your solar plexis, you aren't sure if it is attached to your flesh or not.

> can we still move? If so, take Aya's camera and kick her in the twat.

> oh and also take Youmu's swords and the dream cutlass away or something

>You try to take Aya's camera away, but her grip on it is like stone. You cannot make her fingers budge at all. Not only that, her skin does not yield as it should. It feels like she is a statue.
>Trying to kick her reveals she is very much like a statue. Thankfully you determined this ahead of time and did not kick hard enough to hurt yourself.

>DO THIS SO HARD, STEAL ITT

>You tried. You really did.

>A likely scenario is that we've accidentally frozen time except for us.
>Drop your inventory on the ground. See if it loses color or stays colored.
>Recall that episode of the Twilight Zone with the pocketwatch that stopped time.

>You check your inventory, and find everything is colorless. So are you, it seems.
