>Can you fly?

>It is way too hot to even contemplate such things right now.

> Return to the mansion.
> Go to room.
> Obtain any spell cards lying around.
> Pick up hot sauce left in kitchen.

>You excuse yourself and return to Scarlet Devil Mansion.
>Upon entering the foyer, you head east toward the maid rooms, and make a south turn into your own room.
>You are in the guest room that you have bummed off Remilia for the past century or so. Koakuma usually keeps it clean and well-maintained, but since she is on vacation things are rather dusty now and the bed is a frightful mess. You would ask the maids to handle it, but they work for Sakuya and might try something funny on her orders. The room is fairly empty. All you really keep here and some spare clothes, the little money you have, and your spellcards. Obvious exits are north.
>You obtain Fire Sign: Agni Shine
>You obtain Fire Sign: Agni Shine High Level
>You obtain Wood Sign: Sylphae Horn High Level
>You obtain Earth Sign: Rage Trilithon High Level
>You obtain Fire Sign: Agni Radiance
>You obtain Water Sign: Bury in Lake
>You obtain Wood Sign: Green Storm
>You obtain Earth Sign: Trilithon Shake
>You obtain Metal Sign: Silver Dragon
>You obtain Wood and Fire Sign: Forest Blaze
>You obtain Wood and Water Sign: Water Elf
>You obtain Metal and Water Sign: Mercury Poison
>You obtain Earth and Metal Sign: Emerald Megalith
>You obtain Moon Sign: Silent Selene
>You obtain Sun Sign: Royal Flare
>You then swing by the kitchen.
>The wave of heat from the kitchen is almost like a walking into a wall. Dozens of maids rush to and fro, preparing the upcoming meal. There are numerous ranges and ovens, most of them in use. The smell of scores of ingredients battle for your nose's attention. Plates clatter, voices blend together into in loud babble, and pans sizzle and pop on their stove. Thankfully, Sakuya is not there. Obvious exits are East and South.
>You obtain: Bottle of This Sauce Will Kill You For Reals.
>Your Current Condition is: Winded.

Heh heh... Now we've got some firepower...

> Exit the mansion.
> Head to Tenshi's to tell her the barrel was delivered.
> Think of places one could obtain a map.

>You return to your room and collect your money.
>You obtain: 45 ☼
>You then leave the mansion and return to the human town. You enter the Tavern and tell Tenshi the news, "Thanks!" she says. "Have a cold one on the house!" Before you can object, she puts a Pink Lemonade in front of you.
>You might be able to get one from Kourindou, if any are in stock. There's a couple of maps back at the library, but they are terribly outdated and wouldn't be very useful. If there is someone whose job or hobbies involved maps in some way, you might be able to ask them.
>The Tavern is fairly empty; just Tenshi at the bar and a couple of random people at the tables. They pay you no mind. Obvious exits are East.
>Your current condition is: Rather Winded

>You Obtain: Glass of Pink Lemonade
>You rest up for a little while and ponder the meaning of life. Perhaps it involves algebra?
>You then head toward the Bamboo Forest.
>You find yourself on a straight length of well-worn road with prominent wagon wheel ruts in it. Ahead, you can see the foliage gives way to more and more bamboo. To the north, you can see a clearing with a white cottage and a lot of things littering its yard. Obvious exits are north, east, and west.

>Both the bottles are about 3/4th full.

> Continue through forest.

>You head into the Bamboo forest.
>Being late fall, most of the bamboo is has died and dried up. However, the recent heat has coaxed new shoots to grow, and many are already about knee level. Still, despite the current condition of the bamboo, you very quickly get lost.
>"Get out of my forest, you little wanker!" shouts a voice to the side, you jump and look over to see it is Mokou. "And don't look at me when I'm talking to you!"

>You stare at the ground. It is full of bamboo shoots.
>"That's what I want to know!" Mokou says. "Is that why you're here? Well, that's alright then. Sorry about before. But yeah, if you find Keine, let me know. I got no clue where she went. What do you want her for? She tells me all kinds of things, maybe I can help out."
