Apologies for being rather late with my judging, there's been a lot of cleaning to do around the shrine still. I swear the deities intentionally make this place a mess just to toy with me. Is this the rite of passage here or something? It doesn't help that apparently the previous maidens forgot to take their belongings with them (these stolen socks and Koishi porn mags are going to give the shrine a bad rep if anybody notices them) and I had to spend a whole day cleaning them out. But enough of my personal life story, I suppose you're all waiting for the judge's comments, right?

Thundr: I am somewhat confused why you seem to associate our resident deities with buildings blowing up. That does not bring them good street cred. Also, the fact that Suikama's name is in all caps and Donut's is not seems to suggest that you favor one deity over the other and intend to shower them with more praise. This seems like a terrible idea to me, since last time Suikama and Donut got into an argument over who is more important as a deity (Yes, this happened in some thread from a while back! Really, it did! You just didn't notice it.) it resulted in the destruction of the half of the shrine, resulting in more for me to clean up, so uh, no thanks.
Moerin: While I do have a firm understanding of the saying "Sex Sells", I fail to see why sexual exploitation of a Deity should be required just to promote a shrine. Last time I checked, Donut is above levels that only Kanako would drop down to in an attempt to gather faith. Also, do you know who Suikama is? Donut isn't the only deity in this shrine, otherwise I would probably have a lot less to take care of around here. Maybe if you had included both Suikama and Donut in this picture, I would have given you a little more grace here. Especially if it was Suikama X Donut instead. (Also, I'm not too sure how Nwbi would feel about his art being used to advertise a shrine. Let's just assume nobody cares about him because I want to get onto the next entry already.)
Purvis: I'm very impressed that you managed to get Cirno and Mystia to pose for the photo (especially considering how they are fictional characters. You must have some serious skills), but the blatant discrimination against overweight people ruins it. While I can't say anybody at the shrine is particularily fond of fat people (though I dunno, if sneakers and the feeling of friction get Suikama's motor running, who knows what else does?), this image will cause us to be perceived as discriminating and unfriendly towards the masses, which would have the opposite of the effect that I am looking for. Sorry.
Mimeslayer: Hmm... this doesn't seem too baFFFFFFFFFFF WHAT IS THAT AAAA THAT IS DISTURBING PLEASE DO NOT PUT PICTURES LIKE THAT IN VIDEOS THAT WILL BE SHOWN TO INNOCENT CHILDREN IT WILL GIVE THEM NIGHTMARES AND I AM ON THE VERGE OF HAVING NIGHTMARES MYSELF SERIOUSLY THAT IS CREEPY WHAT IS IT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE IS IT A GAP SNAKE OR SOMETHING BECAUSE ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT MADE ME FORGET HOW TO USE PROPER PUNCTUATION ALSO IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DEITIES AT ALL I AM CONFUSE oh good it went away. Other than that, the description seems fairly well written, but your voice comes across as somewhat muffled and it's kind of hard to understand without turning the volume way up (for me at least, there's a bit of background noise in this room right now so that might be affecting it). You might have done better if you spoke a bit more clearly (and didn't include that picture. I did not expect that :< )
JT: I am actually surprised by all the small details you got correct in this video. It is indeed a little known fact that our two deities often save young children from crashing their bicycle into a tree, and I am impressed that you integrated that into your advertisement. However, it is rather saddening that you made a video about two people who you barely even know. Your lack of knowledge on who the deities are just proves my earlier point about CPMC's lack of faith. I find it somewhat unlikely that you even own our commemorative plate, even though you worked that into the video (those plates have been manufactured by the shrine for years, I'm surprised they do not get much more publicity). Additionally, it may not have been the greatest idea to list all the dangerous side effects of CPMC. We should let people learn about those AFTER they donate. :smug: But aside from those flaws, this was rather well put together, and I can see you at least put some amount of effort into it (but I can't tell how much. Recycling old clips, hmm?). Out of all the entries, it seems like this would be the most effective at winning viewers over, so congrats, you win IP!
Well, thanks for entering, everybody. If Axman didn't already win IP for that one :V post I probably would have awarded it to both him and JT, because both of their entries were really amusing and well-done imo. Starting contests is actually pretty fun, might do this again sometime if I think up an idea. But for now, I have to get back to cleaning this gosh darned shrine. Nobu, would you mind if I borrow your broom for a bit?
(Also the blurbs of text weren't actually how I judged the entries. I just thought they'd be less boring than posting a scoring system. Hurrrrr durrr.)
