You do really good stuff, Taku! Your 4komas are neat, and you can sure do traditional art amazingly! ^^
Looking forward to more :)

Oh, it's a continuation of that 4koma with Tewi in it!

I really need to work on my paneling so I'm abandoning the 4koma layout for now.

I wanted to try something out, y'know coloring other people's stuff and not look as if I butchered it. I wanted to go with an old photograph look with Noname's Yuuka.

Also I made a non-tutorial of it because I didn't really want to work on that php exercise yet.

This isn't how I usually do my stuff, I've tried so many methods of coloring that I can't even remember how I did most of my old works, lamentably that Ran with a Kyuubi mask. :[

I should really start to stick to one coloring style.

How long does it usually take for you to color a picture? Not including background.

It takes me around an hour to 3 depending on how detailed I want it to look with the shading, the colors and whatnot :'>

A little endless loop of my favorite oni drinking sake. Forever.

This one done on Photoshop and Sai with Flash to stitch it all together. I'm just experimenting on some frame by frame techniques that isn't on Flash. I'onno... flash is hard when it comes to frame by frame animation (and I don't like the vector brushes). I'll try and use it on my next experiment.

Using photoshop is tedious, I have to save all the frames one by one. :V

Her elbow and knee interact a little weirdly there. Gonna let Suika join in the drinking too?

Yeah it is pretty weird, I wanted to make it look as if her elbow moves forward with her arm as she takes a sip but I guess my intentions didn't go as planned D:

Yuugi was orginally s'posed to be Suika, but Suika was rather hard to draw with all those accessories XD

It is pretty Okami-inspired, it's the easiest style to use when time-pressured since it's just mostly big heavy strokes and some color underneath

Love that look on her face! You have a really unique style. These drawings are a pleasure to look at.

I like that watercolor feel of the piece. I would love to see you shooting for oil-painting look just like Manet or Degas did (not Monet).

I've been trying to get the oil-painting feel down for the longest time on my digital works. And I just keep failing horribly, hopefully I'll get there in the future. y'know. Attempting to recreate Degas and Manet's techniques feel like a long shot from what I can do right now  :ohdear:

The "Yukari Posessed by Gaps" thing is really getting to me right now. I just noticed it for the first time today, after clearly thinking earlier today how much I'd love to see something like that with Yukari :o

It's inspiring, but more in a way that makes me want to write, rather than draw. Too tired tonight though!

Neatly done as always, although I see some parts were hastily done.

Yeah, and I wholly agree with you about taking a break from Touhou occasionally. Sometimes, it kinda numb your fingers a bit - makes you draw Touhou only - and I do not appreciate that.

Now, where is that stack of wasted papers...
