No, no. We need to go wider.

The series I'm interested in at a glance are Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb, Seitokai no Ichizon s2, and whatever the Initial D thing is.

> Haters HATING shows before they even air one episode
ahahahaha
(trust me I just predicted the future of this thread)

Worthy:
Chuunibyou Koi Ga Shitai (about delusional high schoolers pretending they are anime characters - the anime) this sounds fourth wall breaking all the way
Code Breaker: basically Death Note 2
K - by the producers from GoRA why wouldn't you give it a try?
Psycho Pass - noitaminA nuff said
Magi - Arabian Nights the anime? Fuck yes. A-1 represent
Busou Shinki - the ova was passable, I suppose this is worth its salt. Strike Witches - Miniature Edition meets Chobits without the same CLAMPMELODRAMA
Gothicmade - this seems like Five Star Stories to me, would be worth it

Follow ups:
Jormungand 2 fuck yes. The Expendables: The Anime
Seitokai (New) I believe this is season 2, more madness.
Accel World OVA
Inu Boku SS Special
Mahou Shoujo Madoka

Trap- oriented shows I will watch no matter how bland it is:
Onii-chan Dakeko
Tonari no Kaibutsu - not traps but the boys and girls ratio is worthy of consideration, sounds harem-ish but also could be a contender for Kokoro Connect.

Probably Shit but I will give it a try:
Zetsuen Tempest - BONES, they sucked now don't they?
Sakurasou - probably Love Hina 2 or some shit similiar.

Unworthy:
Everything else

WHAT THE FUCK SERIOUSLY?
Gainax - Evangelion 3. do we seriously need another one? I mean even I get bored of Mari.

Hm, let's see ...

Totally Watching:
Chuunibyou
Litchi Hikari Club
Shin Sekai Yori
Sakurasou

Maaaybe:
Tonari
Sukitte
JoJo

WTF why is this getting another season:
Hidamari Sketch
Bakuman
Jormungand

Not watching:
Everything else, except maybe the Madoka movies.

> Haters HATING shows before they even air one episode
ahahahaha
(trust me I just predicted the future of this thread)

No. No one is "hating" the shows they haven't watched. We're just making decisions on what to start watching based on plot descriptions and studios. There are plenty of shows I didn't pick up at the beginning that I did later on based on the discussions I read. I mean, I completely ignored Madoka until there were maybe three or four episodes left because all the talk about it made me very curious. Best decision I made with regards to anime that year. Not watching =/= never watching.

I'll probably try to watch Magi and CODE:BREAKER just because I have friends that are obsessed with the manga versions, and it'll be an easy way to see what's up.

Also yes to JoJo's.

Beyond that (note that I just read summaries for a few of these) ROBOTICS;NOTES, Litchi Hikari Club, and Shin Sekai Yori look like they might be interesting.

As for movies, there's obviously the Madoka movies. Also the T&B movie for me, but really it's just a rehash of the show so meh.

Though honestly, I never start watching things right off the bat, so we'll see what people suggest to me once things actually start airing.

Obligated and glad to to see

Evangelion 3.0... even though I'd probably wait on Funi to release it here a year or so later. ...As for "why", AF, they've got to finish the whole remake of the story up to however the End turns out this time or else it's been all for naught. I'd rather see the movies go all the way to the end than wind up in a half-finished stalemate. BV

Of great interest

Madoka
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Nanoha

Hmm...

Everything else. I only, like, watch one anime series every one or two years, heh. Seriously, last one I watched all the way through was Panty & Stocking.

Evangelion 3.0 may very well be a must see for a huge number of people simply by virtue of how many of them have wanted some sort of closure/clean retelling instead of MESS MESS MESS.

Unlike Bakuman. Can I rave a bit about Bakuman? Thanks.

S1 was incredible. Two high school kids team up with the dream of being a mangaka team. Only they realize very quickly that the competition and pressure are brutal, and it starts to take its toll on their personal relationships. Along the way, we see how the business works, there's a very exciting dynamic with a brilliant rival, and even their eventual triumph is mixed.

S2, by contrast, was a floundering mess of more of the same. The romance arcs were unbearable, and even their rival moved into the shadows as our two MCs pretty much muddled through to a sputtering stop of a very confusing ending.

So now there's going to be S3. Why? What will happen? The only possible new and exciting arc this story could take would be for their work to get an anime adaptation, but considering that S2 left us with the two of them more or less starting from scratch, this seems highly unlikely. So that gives us another 26 episodes of FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS and eh, guys, please - just stop. Give someone else a chance.

As usual, I'll be watching the first three episodes of almost everything (except for the sequels which I haven't seen the prequels for) and then go from there. I'm thinking I'll probably be sticking with about 8-10 series for the season.

Will definitely watch:
Robotic;Notes
Hidamari
OniAi
TLR Darkness
Chuunibyou
Kyousogiga 2

Oh God, another busy season.  I hope that I'll be able to keep up despite starting university.

Also, I believe the unnamed Urobuchi Gen anime is this as I remember seeing his name somewhere in relation to the project.  I might be wrong though.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.

I predict simply Gainax will not let you leave the cinema under Evangelion 6.0 YOU CAN(NOT) HAVE ENDINGS

aside from Chuunibyou I really really love Jormungand, and this 2nd season should finally explain Lehm's past.
We need full insight into Koko's background. Like seriously.

I like to think thus far I have been making great choices good enough to pick up shows I never am gonna drop before the season ends. these two are my such choices.
