Or we can just take the easy, not-untruthful way out.

> "Then how about this? I beat up the first inchling once before, many years ago. If she gets out of hand and starts doing bad things to fairies, I will beat her up again."

>The three of you take flight, and make your way toward Youkai Mountain. The trip takes a little while, you're still not quite used to that yet. The landscape below has changed so much you can't really pick out anything familiar. But, as the sun begins its transition toward evening, you see the mountain ahead, the strange cable car still making its way up and down the mountain. There is quite a lot of traffic on the road leading away from the mountain, coming and going.

>It seems the traffic is mostly coming from the cable cars at the base of the mountain.
>As far as foot paths go, it doesn't seem like there is a particular one; you will have to fly to get to it unless you intend to get into mountaineering.

> Fly toward the village, then.

>You make your way toward the tengu village. While you can hardly say you've spent time there, you have flown past it as few times, it doesn't seem to have changed greatly from what dim memories you have. Thin, tall houses, like artificial trees, stand together like a dense forest, all of them festooned with a number of balconies. Water cascades past the side of the village, swift rapids before plunging downward toward the traditional home of the kappa. As you come closer, you can see some tengu milling about, flying from here to there in their daily business. Others are lounging on their balconies. A few patrols are in the air, and it seems one is approaching you.

>Not really. You don't have many relations with the tengu.
>Probably to inflate their sense of self importance.
>The patrol stops some dozens of yards away, and a particularly short tengu with wolf ears and a notably curvy build approaches your group. "Begging your pardon," she says. "But I am afraid that we cannot allow faeries into our village."
