Gappy, sense of 'dynamic feeling' in your work is strong. Is it me or did you improved or just were hiding this from us? Because your earlier work is nothing compared to this to be honest.

But in all seriousness, it's mostly because my initial works were intended to fit my sig XD After I ran out of space, it didn't matter anymore ^^;;
Oh... Oh wow, Ruro looks nothing short of gorgeous~ I can honestly say that without a doubt that is easily one of the best pieces of Ijiyatsu art thus far, Nwbi. Be proud of yourself, you deserve it!

I agree with all of the above. Nwbi, that is the most amazing piece of ijiatsu art I've seen thus far. Your colouring is simply faultless. The subject's posture is nice and relaxed, giving her a sense of effortless superiority, a charisma that simply shines through. I see you placed her atop the torii - this accentuates that even further.
The shadows are a very subtle yet perfect touch. It gives it a nice sense of depth. And the background...oh goodness, the background, so breathtaking.
My only quibble is the colour scheme - blue and red isn't my idea of an ideal colour combination, personally, but that's probably just me. I'd have gone for all red, or red and white. But otherwise this so beautiful I'd put it up as my wallpaper for a while ^^
tl;dr - perfect piece of work, Nwbi. Keep it up.

Another unfinished piece. This one was halted midway and has been sitting on my art pile for weeks unfinished, mostly because I was asked to not draw her. *Gappy shrugs* Probably a good thing. This is the most un-touhou piece I've ever drawn. But I decided to post it anyway for want of something to post XP
