> Follow more!
>You continue to follow, as the little dog youkai weaves her way through several streets, then into alleys between the buildings. You have to dodge around broken glass, curious bottles that look like glass but bend when stepped on, wooden crates, and the odd rat to keep up.
>At one point, you lose her around a corner, but when you turn it, you find she is consorting with another youkai that looks similar to her, though shorter and with blonde hair. You just manage to overhear a "C'mon, pal, c'mon!" before the other youkai points more or less the direction you are going and she takes off again.
>After perhaps ten or so minutes of this, you come to a place where the buildings are largely made of clay stone and wood, two story things with large obvious courtyards. Among them, however, are other buildings such as the metal and glass structures that seem unique to Apex, and small wooden houses whose style looks somewhat like that of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. The streets are narrow, and most of the people here seem to be wearing thick sheets wrapped about them; you've seen similar in a few of the art pieces that Mistress owns. You guide slows down, ears perked and twitch. "Okay. Okay. Right. Okay," she says.
