Title: Whose Line: Credits - Zun makes Ten Desires with MotK
Post by: Reddyne on February 09, 2011, 05:11:15 AM
Gooooood evening everyone and welcome to Whose Line is it, MotK?. I'm your host, Reddyne. C'mon, let's have some fun!

Hello and welcome to Whose Line is it, MotK?. It's the thread where everything's made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points are just like letters to ZUN from Mima fans.
:< :< :<
What we do is play a game in which everyone is encouraged to participate, and at the end, I dish out imaginary points that don't mean a thing while the winner gets to do a little something special with me. :*  :*  :*

Now that I've scared the girls off, let's go right to my favorite game in the whole wide world, Scenes From (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iytw8v1WVs) a Hat (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKIxtCPuQE4)! What I'm going to do is take 'scenes' written on a figurative piece of paper from a figurative hat. The scenes will be related to the world of Touhou and/or our little community here, and you guys feel free to respond accordingly with whatever silly/amusing/clever little thing you come up with. Feel free to chime in as many times as you please as well. When a 'scene' gets old and/or stale, I'll buzz it out with a *BZZT* and move on to something different until things get old or the topic gets the boot for being a dumb idea. So let's begin with a warmup!

/me takes out a very familiar looking beret.

The first scene is: WHAT ZUN IS ACTUALLY THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW

"But sir, we ish sooo hungery. One peanut a week to share wills not be enoughs."

"Then get to work!

"Better hurry up before the battery runs out!"

Very good! Just remember, it doesn't necessarily have to be the most obvious thing, but whatever you come up with that feels most humorous while still somehow being relevant. Just tossing it out there that if you've got a rip-roarin' suggestion of your own, feel free to PM me. If not, I've got puh-lenty of 'em. Also, I will make sure that everyone who plays does get points in the end in one form or another, although they won't mean a thing. That's right, they'll be just like what AA is to Suika.

Anyway, here's a very unfamiliar hat that I totally didn't steal.

*BZZZZZT*

Well that's enough of this game. No more Scenes From a Hat.
We can't play it forever. You gotta deal with that.
But I got somethin' else that'll scare you outta town.
Yup, you got it right folks. It's time for a HOE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGl0u4cmh1A)DOWN! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYC0XtSHgX0)

Time for a brief intermission between major games with a song. But what should it be about? Hwhelp, how about a TEAM 9 HOEDOWN?

What better way to celebrate a song about hillbillery than with a group whose odds of getting into an ivy league school are equal to the odds that Mitsumoto will finish Night Sparrow Love sometime during my lifetime.
:< :< :<
Yeah, there's probably a lot of ways. Anyway, you've just seen it yourself. Feel free to pitch in with a four line refrain with a rhyming scheme of A, A, B, B focusing on Wriggle, Mystia, Cirno, Rumia, and their antics, whether it's focusing on all or one of them, in third or first person, or however you'd like it to be.

Do or die! Will anyone last through to the next one? We'll find out if I'm on corpse duty or not. Points will be awarded to survivors when all's said and done, but they don't mean a daaaaaamn thang. That's right, they're just like Yukari's 'anti-aging' cream.

So without further ado (56k warnin'): (http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks2/music/piano/) D1, B, G, G A B G A F# B

Cirno is the strongest, her strength is legendary
Of all her boastful claims, Gensokyo is weary
She's not muscular but she heard from Ahnold now

Rumia flies everywhere, disregarding everything
Surrounded by darkness, she cannot see a thing
Her best friend is a fairy, she thinks she's the strongest
But she cannot prove it, not even in the 'fest

(Ok that was lame. :V)

EDIT: Better one!
*Dead in Colin's voice*
Daiyousei's a fairy, she's bright as day
Flying around carelessly even if she has no name
In fanon she is seen as being quite cute
It doesn't help that in canon she's actually mute

I'm singing a hoedown about the nine team
Everywhere they go it's like a hilarious dream
Rumia is scary and Mystia is kinda hairy
But I guess it's better than being an idiot fairy!

[Colin]
Hey guess what I found Cirno the other day
She was crying over how it was almost May
When I asked what's so wrong about it being hotter
Then I found out what was wrong when I stepped in a puddle of water

Have - a - bunch - of - Jeeeeeeeeeews! Not an awkward way to end a hoedown in the least.

Alright! Alright! I get it! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBpp42_VVtQ&feature=player_embedded#t=127) Thanks to those of you who did participate. Your banjo playing skills are finer than a southern belle daintily sippin' a mint julep on a Kentucky plantation. Not to mention that the moonshine you guys made which I totally didn't help - and later uh, 'unhelped'
:< :< :<
- myself to last night was spectacular.

Anyway, I told you that game to tell you this one. If the simpler stuff is more fun, I've got one. It's time for PRO (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE9NmXpXfLs)PS! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgU9o5n_U7k)

What I'm gonna do is present to you with two different objects. Your job is radically misinterpret WHAT THEY ARE and THEIR INTENDED USE, whether you choose to use one, the other, or both. There's a bit of a visual component here, so be creative when you create your mental picture. Or be so daring as to break out Create.swf yourself for extra 'points', but those things are worth as much as Merlin's solo albums. They just aren't worth a thing.

So here's the first round! The props are:
Flandre's Laevatein!
(http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/1846/propslaev.th.jpg) (http://img257.imageshack.us/i/propslaev.jpg/)

...And Sakuya's pads!
(http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/7641/propspad.th.jpg) (http://img28.imageshack.us/i/propspad.jpg/)

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got bodies to clean up. And I hope I'm imageshacking right. :derp:

So, yeah, all things considered, I think it was best to end it here to avoid beating a dead horse. If we were to do the other games that Whose Line did well, it would not only pigeonhole the thread into RPG, but far more importantly, severely limit participation if I didn't change the games to something else entirely. Still, good times had by all, yeah?

So time to dish out the 'rewards'! You think everyone's getting just the typical 1000 points? Aw, HEEEEEEEELL naw! You're getting different numbers of points! And different kinds to boot! All participants (I hope. I double-checked.) are listed below in alphabetical order-ish. With special mention to runners up Dular and Zengar. I think the props bit is what really did it. Shadoweh, by the power vested in me by this site, I bestow upon you the rank and title of "Member". Congratulations! Well done in general, guys. Hope ya had as much fun as I did!

Sure why not. Wish I could remember what I did with my MotK Irish Drinking Song.

One more game before the credits! Because it just wouldn't fit otherwise, it's the Oni Irish Drin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4D1htaBxwk)king Song! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xglZ8UTq5Fg&feature=related) What we're gonna do is sing an Irish drinking song one line at a time, and this time I'll be joining in. Each 8 line verse has it's 2nd and 4th lines, plus 6th and 8th lines rhyme. While there is no general rule to the length of each line, the even lines are typically 1 or 2 syllables shorter than the line preceding it. After the 8th line, the chorus kicks in, and repeats. As always, we go until folks seem to get sick of things. SO!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, aidie, daidie, daidie, daidie, daidie, daidie dai!

I went drinkin' with the oni,

Yaaaaaaaay! Well done!

Now to finish it off, it's time for the sacred READING OF (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0rcCaCR3DA) THE CREDITS! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLfFLZSm94M)

What we're going to do is read off the different names of people who participated in the thread by picking a name or names and incorporating them into a scene. Once again, the participants list is right here (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,8417.msg574229.html#msg574229) and the scene is ZUN MAKING TEN DESIRES USING THE MAIDENS OF MOTK. Repeats are OK and we'll just leave things as-is when everyone's had enough. Alright? GO!

"Let's see. So I have Vic Viper as the stage 3 boss with the purple and orange goth-loli dress. I've finally finished her theme song, Triple Factorial, and her danmaku are based around Noodles."

P-Prism...rivers...*eye twitches as I try to suppress my rage at the poltergeists*
Anyway, since I don't know much else to do with my own actual username...(since I likes me my numbers that were there and all...)

"Hm...If the players get a lot of Point items, they're probably pretty good...  I should give them a special challenge when they have...*uses an RNG between 1,000-2,000* 1790 point items, and have a powerful extra enemy pop up after the final boss if they have enough...  It'll give me a good chance to try out that time-slowing-and-stopping curvy-laser-using enemy I've been thinking of..."

"Curvy lasers cover the bottom screen, like waves... it's like she's taking them for a ride!"

"Today was pretty Colt, I hope I don't get a Virus because I've been feeling Fragile.  Better finish up this Colassal Guardian Tempest mid-boss worth 9 Zentillion points and get something Edible, like a Muffin, before moving on to the next Sect. These Sapz are Dull-ar to program, it's giving me a Headcrabs, and making me see Reddyne; Hakurei can easily Bob-omb through it too.  Sometimes I'm Ryuu-lly Uncertain about this JOB, other times inspiration strikes like SevenWhiteCats, and I'm Admiral Skye on Cloud Naut, cranking out a Caedo of code to the Manx."

"Eh, I dunno. A youkai that can get anyone else's abilities? That goes a bit far even for Touhou standards."

"I'll treat you to another twenty beers."

"So the fans want Mima back? I guess I can put her as a sprite that randomly appears in the BG and that'll make them happy."

"Relax, you're not going to be in a dress, in fact you even have a nice military feel to it!"
"Tempting....."
