> "Uh-huh."  Orin turns and walks back to the restaurant.
> You, in the meantime, take to the skies and go west.  Orin was right--from the air, the schoolhouse is very visible.  The field next to it cuts a large swath out of the rest of the buildings here.  Flying closer, you see that a small trickle of people are loitering around even though it's summer.

> You fly over the people loitering around.  They're all teenagers.
> You land in front of the main doors and head inside.  Fluorescent lighting illuminates the colorless floors and walls, which are lined with lockers.  Sunlight filters in through some window further in.  You hear the echoes of far off voices.  There is one hallway straight ahead, leading to an open space, and a smaller hallway going to the right.

> You proceed down the hall, feeling wary of the lighting.  It feels too unnatural.
> As you walk, you don't see any teachers, but you do see a lot of students.  Walking into the open space you see what it is mostly empty, save for some columns propping up a bridge spanning over the room.  There are stairs leading up to it, and some fold out tables here and there.  A group of students who you'd wager are in their late teens are here.  Their bags have been deposited on the tables and they are either standing around and talking or sitting on the stairs.  Some have snacks, all are wearing some sort of sports uniform and carrying long sticks with small nets on the end of them.

> You approach these unwashed hooligans.  Only a few of them stop talking to pay attention to you.  One of them, a dark-haired girl with her hair in a ponytail uses her stick thing to point to the stairs. 
> "She's upstairs in 238," she half-shouts from the other side of the room.

> You leave the students behind and go up the stairs.  On the bridge above the open area there is a sign that points out which way to go for certain rooms.  Rooms 230-252 are to the left, so you go that way.
> It doesn't take very long to find out where you're going.  All of the rooms have helpful number plates on them, and you find Room 238 not even halfway down the hall.  The door is currently closed, but the lights are on and you can see some desks in there through the window on the door.

> You open the door.
> The room, it seems, has been stripped down for the summer.  Only a few books remain on a shelf in one corner of the room, and the walls are bare.  All of the desks, however, are still in place.  At a larger desk at the back of the room, a woman you recognize as Keine sits reading from a book.  Her hair is drawn back into a messy bun and she is wearing a t-shirt and some blue slacks made from a fabric you do not recognize.  When you enter, she lowers the book and looks in your direction.
> "Hey.  Do you need something?"

>"You don't even know. First thing, do you recognize me at all? This is important."

> You ask Keine if she knows who you are.  She squints a little, rubs her chin, and then shakes her head.
> "No, I don't.  You don't look like any of the students I've had in the past."

> Keine straightens up in her chair.  "I haven't sensed anything.  Could you tell me exactly what happened?"

> Point at her. "You don't know me. Satori's pets don't know me. No one knows where my shrine is."
> Pause. "Also, the town is crazy looking."

> You explain the situation to Keine.
> She pushes her chair away from the desk and crosses a leg over one knee.  With no flourish at all, she just kind of spits out a scroll into her hands.  She unfurls it and starts poring over the text, which you notice is unbearably tiny.
> "Tell me your name, shrine, and a brief summary of these 'incidents'," she says.
