>When you enter, you appear in the middle of the library in front of the towering gap. Patchouli says "Huh, you people again...and you brought Suika Ibuki..."

We cannot enter the gaps within people's minds, so we need another way to get to the world they lead to. >Pause.
>Shiki: "I really should have thought of that myself. Yukari, can we enter that one?"

[Blitzer]

>Patchouli says "I suppose the books were being blocked by shelves or floors..."

>Reimu heads towards East 1, Suika and Koishi head towards North 2, and Eiki and Yuyuko head towards West 2.
>As Reimu, you find loads of books on the ground as Patchouli had said. You also hear Patchouli's voice right next to you all of a sudden. "Hello."
>As Suika and Koishi, you find yourself at a crossroads. Obvious exits are North, East, West, and South, which is the way you came. North, you see a huge stairway.
>As Eiki and Yuyuko, you find both a crossroads and loads of books on the ground. Some fairies are lurking around, poking at books every so often, but not causing mischief.

>Party: Grab any books that start to move.

>As Reimu, you see a book on the ground move and hit the shelf, then slide on the shelf to the right and out of the aisle.
>As Suika and Koishi, you continue to hear thumps upstairs.
>As Eiki and Yuyuko, you see a book in a pile on the floor move, but you immediately lose its position when it and several of the books around it...take flight? The fairies scramble in random directions.

>Patchouli flatly says "Fine."

>"I don't know, them being fairies."

>There isn't much difference here. There are piles of books on the ground and shelves of books as always, but the lighting is darker. In front of you is a view of the lower floor. Obvious pathways are North, West, and East, where North is the way you came.

>You keep following the book, then catch a glimpse of Suika holding the book. Huh, she caught it. You see Patchouli standing where Suika and Koishi went.

>Yuyuko: Throw a book at the books and see if that works.

>You throw a book at the books. Some of the books levitate and start flying around, but the books that did fly around weren't close the where the book you threw landed.

>Shiki: "I don't believe we have time to be playing around."

>Yuyuko replies "I wanted to get a reaction from the books, you see."
>You are then hit on the right side of your head by danmaku!

>Suika: Try gathering again.
>Reimu: "Huh. Looks like Suika found one. You know, you really need to get this place organized."

[Blitzer]

>You turn backwards...and find yourself face-to-face with danmaku-shooting books. Patchouli must have gotten rather tired of Marisa...

>Suika: Try gathering again.

>You try gathering again. You see a huge cloud of books flying towards you at your left.

>Reimu: "Huh. Looks like Suika found one. You know, you really need to get this place organized."

>Patchouli dryly says "Acknowledged."

>Shiki/Yuyuko: Evade and return fire with basic danmaku.
>Suika/Koishi: Catch as many of the books as possible before they hit Suika, then pick up the ones we missed and head back downstairs.
>Koishi: "Okay, we've got a bunch!"

>Deschampsia Droplet: Don't return fire, just try to escape. No need to incur property damage.
>Yuyuke's Peak: Give 'em the butterflies. Lots of butterflies!

>"I haven't." She then mutters something, and all the books stop moving in midair. "I would have liked to test them out against you, but I suppose you would object to that too much."

>Koishi: "Probably some security thing Patchy forgot to turn off. Okay, now that that's dealt with, try gathering again."

>Yuyuko: Cease fire.
>"That was strange."
>Shiki: "Patchouli has problems with theft, thanks to Marisa. I would assume the books were a security system that Patchouli simply forgot to deactivate. But no harm done. Let us resume our search."
